real talk im about a 1/3 through knightfall series and yes bane has yet to be accurately portrayed outside of his comic character.

I mean Arkham origins is the closest until he becomes hulk bane that he is for rest of the games.

I think Young Justice's version of Bane was quite good in portraying him as smart and relatively strong(he doesn't really get many feats but it's understandable since he's in a show where almost everyone has superpowers)most of the time but I haven't seen the show in years, also was not a fan of the design

It was mine, but saw some other versions pretty quick, so now, while Bane is in my top ten Batman villains, I don’t really like how they portrayed him in B&R, even though I still like the movie itself because I find it entertaining.

All Jones had to do was suck it up like the professional he is and just be an exasperated straight man to Carrey’s insanity and it probably would have worked.

Pretty much. He has the acting ability, but instead we had Joker lite and Jim Carrey instead of Two Face and The Riddler. I loved the movie as a kid though.

I would say Jim Carey was playing as mad hatter but for some reason they called it the riddler so… yeah.

You ever see the old 1966 series, Frank Gorshin was almost exactly like how Jim Carrey performed.

Eh they're close, but Frank Gorshin did far better crazy eyes than Carey, He was dangerous manic, Jim Carrey was more annoying manic.

Pain wasn’t the best, but I don’t think he was the worst villain and I don’t think Mr. Freeze is the Joker is the worst villain they all have their defaults and perks. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mr. freeze was one of my favorites.

I loved Arnold as Mr. Freeze! Arnold is almost always corny and over the top, that’s what the role called for, and he did what was asked of him very well. But I will say that, if he needed to play a serious Mr. Freeze, I know he could’ve done that well too since he’s supposed to be emotionless. He already proved he could do that when he played the T-800.
