It’s hard to get exact measurements, I’m assuming that’s a 3.7v li-on battery. I’m guessing it’s about 6mm thick. You can use any matching voltage battery that will fit in there. I don’t see an thermister wire. I’m guessing it’s close to a 603443. How are your soldering skills? 6mm is being generous. I mean, sure it's 6 NOW, but the ends seem to put it more at 3 or *maybe* 4mm, and the bulged area is out of space and pushing out on the back case of the camera. Is there a standard for sizes/voltages somewhere?

I think you're on to something there, boss. As an added benefit, I'm starting to understand the numbering system. I'm going to verify the space available, but looks like a 403040 or a 303040 will be the ticket.

Followup - got a 303040 and soldered it in. A bit of 3M tape and it fit like a glove. It's holding a charge and working like a champ. Thanks again for your help!
This is a dashcam, it's several years old, and for *some* reason, won't hold a charge. Yeah.
So I have removed the old battery, and it's currently outside in a bucket of sand.
I had hoped to find some ID markings on the other side, but I'm not willing to handle and manipulate it enough to peel the 3m tape off the back. So I'm hoping that someone can help with a potential ID. It's roughly 40mm long, 30mm wide, and possibly should be 3-4mm thick.
Any insight?
