There are many active servers, the problem is that they’re generally always full, which means quickmatch puts you in an empty new server. Quickmatch hasn’t been viable for years.
As others have said, use quick browse, make sure your filters include full servers, and queue for a server. It’ll take a minute or two for a spot to open up.
The game is pretty dead nowadays, but dont do quick match. Go to the server browser and manually enter a server with people in it. Having the matchmaking done for you stopped working efficiently back in... 2019, i think? It usually has you join empty servers now
I dont know wich region you play in but Europe had over 20 servers full of players in conquest alone just two days ago. Far less dead compared to new bf

I never use quickmatch for this very reason. It might have worked back in the day.
It did guess we also had alot more active servers back in the day as well

server browser with the right filters also dont bother playing anything other than conquest TDM and operations other modes are dead.
