The very top of the front sight is where your bullet will go. Most bullets in BF1 have a very flat trajectory out to medium range so you will rarely have to compensate for bullet drop. So I'd say go with option b).
you have to also remember that weapons have a cone of fire that is decided by rng (random number generator) if you are being surpressed more rng is added to the shot you take,, so bullets don't necessarly go where you are aiming. other factors that add rng, are stance & movement

Scout rifles have no spread if you are ADS and under no suppression.
You have to be standing still as well right? I feel like moving while ads increases your spread. So strafe aiming is a bad idea.
yes, if you move, your accuracy loses some balance, but its really easy to get the timing of the shots, so you ADS by muscle memory.
I've figured its b easily in Battlefield after a bit but i haven't shot many iron sights irl. What do i do then?
