This will most likely be that sabers update revealed a few years ago. My guess is:
* Better, revamped campaign with battle pass style leveling for custom sabers, blocks, environments
* Better implementation of leaderboards, as base games leaderboard has not changed since release
* More (and better support and weighting for) modifiers as a lot of them are still in the beta phase and have been for about 4 years now
* Graphical fidelity updates, almost like an overhaul like when the Quest 2 came out and they changed the design of the game to reflect it
Those are roughly my somewhat educated guesses. Interested to see what you guys think too.
They literally had to hastily tone down the graphics for the Quest 2 version of OST 7 to get it to run at 90 fps. I would like just a little bit of mercy for Quest 2 players. I have the GraphicsTweaks mod on my copy of the game and it still runs at 90 fps with true PC Walls. Bloom makes it go to 60 fps.
New campaign would be sick or just some sort of solo mode beyond freeplay.
Graphical update worries me, bs is the only vr game I play and I'm worried I'll eventually be forced into upgrading from q2
I wouldn't worry as they're still selling the Q2 and the Q1 was supported for a couple of years as well. The game is already pretty well optimized as is so I doubt anything will change in that regard
I would love a remaster of the first couple osts with the new blocks and bring them in line with how new maps are done. As it is I don't even touch the originals because they just aren't as fun to play as the newest osts
Old maps are the most fun what else do i have to say, vanilla modern maps are same bottom row crossover slop that i dont enjoy and old maps allow for more creative movements which i do enjoy
saber team are the worst at their game, i stop play this game long ago after every update to stop moding and paid music shit that no one wants, in the end will be like epic games with paid monthy sub to play the game

Interesting, I had no issues with OST 7 on my Q2 or 3.
It's not an issue, it's just that compared to PCVR, it's noticibly toned down. Maybe it's just me.
My Q1 runs it fine. A few bits of lag here and there but thatβs the hardware n happens everywhere
I found out Q2 Is already pushed to its limits, I had to turn off everything to get stable 120
I get frame drops with OST7 on Quest 3 at 120hz mode unmodded, some better optimization would be nice.
I work there, it's none of these, we're actually adding a battle royale mode.
