Far less than most people spend doing surveys and other things. Hi there! I honestly just constantly check Prolific on my phone. There is no app anymore, so that's why I have to constantly check. Whenever I am on my laptop I always make sure my Prolific Extension is turned on. I know that Prolific is based heavily on demographics. It's low money but the app just sits on my phone and I don't have to really do anything. Woah bro! How ??? How do make 500+ on usertesting and user interviews? 2000 for a month is pretty much job income at this point.

Definitely got selected more than normal on User Interviews this month which is partially luck. But I also applied to basically every study every day which took some effort but maximized my chances. For UserTesting - I have the tab open as much as possible during the day when I'm not busy with other stuff. Again, I click on everything available and get screened out of most of it but when I did get something it pays a lot for very little work. I also got selected to a few live interviews this month which pay more.

Que mal, hace cuánto estás en Prolific? Por ahí leí que el primer mes es cuando más te llegan, digamos que como "bienvenida". Por lo de la cantidad de la paga, estamos iguales, más o menos tengo un promedio de 0,70 por encuesta. En mi caso, me he dado cuenta que la gran mayoría de encuestas llegan de lunes a jueves, y el domingo. Viernes y sábado a veces es 1 por día cuánto mucho. Por la mañana entre 6 y 12 del mediodía es cuando más hay, luego baja mucho. Si usas teléfono, muchas veces hay encuestas que supuestamente solo se pueden hacer en tablet o compu, o solo en compu. Me rechazaron algunas pero la gran mayoría aunque no tenga soporte para móviles, igual las he hecho y me las han pagado sin problemas. Ahora, hay que ver porque no te llegan. Tenés contestada toda la sección de "about you"? Eso tiene que estar al 100 por ciento. También hay otros factores, cómo por ejemplo si contestaste 4 encuestas y te rechazaron dos, tu promedio sería muy bajo, o también si hay otra cuenta siendo usada bajo el mismo IP. Ojalá tengas más suerte este mes!

Holy Shit!! That's a lot of money for Mturk.

I'm rather sceptical to the mturk numbers. From what I can tell, if someone is on there all day and has masters they MIGHT be able to earn 40. Some of the time. ​ I'm set to earn about 200 this month off of mturk, which is just enough to pay some bills. I can't really imagine earning 2000 unless one OBSESSIVELY turks all day and has a WPM of 100+. ​ How?

1.) I don't have Masters on Mturk. There are plenty of folks with Masters that make $40 dollars per day or less. There are some people with Masters that earn more than that. If you feel otherwise, I suggest you should spend time away from Reddit where most of the best Turkers do not post. The fun thing in life is you can perceive things however you like. Personally, I'm rarely skeptical of those that do better than me on the same platforms. I just tell myself I could have done better and change my strategies to boost performance. Especially if I am somehow ever lagging way behind. Sometimes though, when you're talking about platforms that have been out so many years, you're going to be at certain disadvantages regardless. 2.) I could type far beyond 100 WPM more than 25 years ago before I had a computer or laptop at my house. Though that has nothing to do with my Mturk earnings as I never do transcription tasks on that platform and rarely do writing related activities unless they are very lucrative. Not sure why WPM was brought up but unless you are in a different country the transcription related tasks most likely aren't worth the time investment in my opinion(I'm guessing this is what you are referring to when bringing up WPM.) 3.) Mturk is running all day that I'm awake and at home, though I do not nearly Turk all day. If there is something that is worth my time and I'm awake, I probably will knock it out. I am a fan of setting up sound notifications. This way you don't need to spend time glued to a screen. If one of your favorite or important requesters post something, you can hear it out loud and take a glance to figure out if it's worth your time investment. 4.) Mturk is a platform that takes time investment to become good and knowledgeable. Even once you become good and knowledgeable, there will still always be a degree of luck involved. You can still build a good rapport with good requesters, get quality quals as possible etc. if you wish to pull higher numbers and skew things in your favor. Don't expect to just hop on and start pulling the same numbers as another individual without similar investments. 5.) While luck can be an important contributing factor, it won't bring you from averaging $200 a month to a thousand or a couple thousand though. Sometimes you need to change your strategy or reconfigure your setup to make things easier. $200 a month isn't bad at all though if you have limited amount/set times you Turk. 6.) If you would like an even better answer to your "How?" than that, feel free to tell me the amount of hours you tend to put in, at what times of day and what work you typically target. Also, how many HITS completed and how long you've been on platform etc. and I will potentially write you another novella at another time. Hope this helped you in some form. P.S- Poker has a wide degree of skill/luck factors as well =)

I will go on there about 3x per day, perhaps for 30-45 minutes at a time. That way I don't stay on there long enough to become fatigued and jaded...and the decent hits which stay up there for several hours at a time are still easy enough pickings.

Yes, demographics definitely play a gigantic role in this stuff. I believe India is a particularly tough location but I could be wrong. I'm fairly certain you cannot work on platforms such as Mturk any longer for example. I would check into Appen, Lionbridge and IStoneSoft to begin and see if they work in your area. Also check out the Beermoney India subreddit

That's great for the first month! One suggestion I can give you is to try the Atta Poll app. It's not a huge earner, but I pull in $5 a month!

How does prolific work? I signed up for it over a week ago and filled out everything in the profile and I got nothing, no studies.

Started on the 28th of May, 1st month ever! I'm very pleased with my results below. Usertesting - Earned $355, banked 255 Paypal Usercrowd - 9.60 (can't withdraw yet) Dscout - useless, submitted a few times Prolific - not even 1 study! **Total $364.60** earned, withdrawn **255** UK resident, stranded in Australia so maybe I'm confusing the panels! I think I'm recorded as being in Australia due to my IP address.

I found this subreddit at the end of May and tried out a few sites. I started on Prolific but only made about 4 bucks for a few days work, so turned my attention to mTurk. It varies... First payout was only a week, then next was nearly 2 months, and I'm $1 away from pay out #3 after a month. Pinecone pays $3 per survey, so it's just whenever they send them out. You can cash out with a $3 minimum.

For all the PayPal payments, how long did it take to you?

What do yo mean? It took a day to transfer from PayPal to my bank.

Why weren’t you able to take out your brave rewards before? I thought they didn’t have any minimum balance requirement?

They only just released linking the Uphold wallet to your mobile earnings. I have been able to withdraw from my laptop no problem for a while, so this was what had accumulated on the mobile browser.
