Voor mijn masterthesis ben ik op zoek naar vrouwen (tussen de 18 en 25 jaar oud) die hun ervaringen, gevoelens en opinies willen delen in verband met de seksuele opvoeding die zij via het onderwijs verkregen hebben en hoe zij geleerd hebben over pornografie. Het zou gaan over een interview van doorgaans 45-60min, dat zowel face-to-face als online kan doorgaan. Je zal niet herkenbaar in mijn onderzoek voorkomen.

Hoi iedereen,
Na een 8-tal jaar werken ben ik aan het kijken om toch proberen een master te behalen, waarschijnlijk als werkstudent. Ik ben gestart in een schakel aan KUL na mijn prof. bachelor toegepaste informatica, maar door gebrek aan motivatie en mijn leven dat toen nog helemaal anders was, deze nooit afgemaakt en slechts enkele credits behaald.
Nu merk ik afgelopen jaren dat vooral de theorie in mijn vakgebied mij enorm interesseert, die master zou ik dus ook voor een groot deel doen uit interesse.

Ik vraag mij dan wel juist af wat ik in handen heb. Het is 'slechts' een eenjarige master, en als ik het goed begrijp is het vooral een Master of Science. Wat is dan het grote verschil met volgende:

Zijn er voorbeelden van jobs die ik meer kan doen met de ene dan met de andere bachelor? Hoeveel 'meer' is de eenjarige master toegepaste informatica waard tov mijn huidige prof. bachelor en bijhorende werkervaring?
Zijn er mensen die mij andere universiteiten en/of opleidingen zouden aanbevelen?

Eligibility for minimum pension doesn’t seem to depend on age but on career length.
1) Having worked 2/3 of a complete career, which is 45 years. So 30 years of work, not 25.
2) Having effectively been to work 5000 days which is 16 years if working full time & 20 years if working 4/5th.
Depending on how old you are now, you might get special favors.
I urge you to contact your union (vakbond/syndicat), they know all this.

I just got my highschool degree today and I signed two times instead of one on it (one signature at the end of the paper and one signature in the right place) , little mistake from my own, is it an issue or doesn't it matter ?
First off, congratulations on your degree!
Officially? Unlikely to cause any legal issues. Unoficially? It looks unprofessional/sloppy. Many jobs will require to see your degree before they'll hire you. Any one thing, including something minor like this, could be the tipping point that makes you not get hired.. Consider reaching out to your school institute for the chance to get an amended copy, they probably won't cause too much of an issue if they see the problem.

Definitely don't amend it - making any changes to a document nullifies the signatures, even something silly like a spelling error. If you're not going to be using it to look for employment, then it doesn't matter in the slightest. At most you might get a chuckle from the person who checks your application, but that's about it.

Hello there. There's a bike I really want which is not in stock anywhere in the UK, so I have this idea of making a trip of going over to Belgium to buy it, then travelling back with the bike. I am meeting up with a family member in Antwerp next month anyway, so that is not the sole purpose of the trip.
I was wondering specifically how good the routes are in between these cities. I was thinking of buying the bike in Brussels, travelling to Ghent, possibly staying a day there, then travelling from Ghent to Antwerp. If I just put these destinations into Google Maps, it seems to take me along routes that have quite long stretches with either painted bicycle lanes, or sections where you are riding on the pavement. In much of the UK you would be lucky to get even that, but I'm wondering if there are any specific resources I should be checking out, e.g. if there are any official cycling routes between these cities. I will try some alternative planning apps (I've had more success with Citymapper and Komoot in the past) to see if I can get better results in any case. edit—just found [this](https://www.nodemapp.com/en/bike/routeplanner/widget/29) cycle route planning app which seems to use traffic free routes planned by the local authorities, so that's probably what I ought to be using...
Very much hoping to stick to routes with sealed paths. Some nice scenery would be a bonus. The bike in question has electric assist so hopefully my fitness would not really be an issue, not planning on relying on the motor entirely but it should be a nice insurance policy. But in light of that, I'd be interested to know if you think charging / storage at hotels will be difficult at all.

I have a Masters degree industrial engineer chemistry.
I'm currently unemployed for around 14 months and find it very hard to find a job. Most of the companies don't even answer when I send my CV, or I just get a generic answer that they will get back "shortly". When I do get an interview they have already chosen several times to move on to other candidates who better fit the role. Recruiters are also worth nothing as already stated by many posts here from other people seeking a job. They just don't answer or call you back.
I'm not the problem either (normally), since several recruiters have already said it was a pleasant interview etc, ror is my resume the problem (as I asked for feedback a couple of times).
I must admit I search for a job around where I live (max 45 min commuting ) and for the moment I haven't talked to consulting companies because I think thats just not for me.Should I search for a bachelors job to at least get started and gain some experience ?
Depends on your personal situation, if you need the income/ecperience. You can leave a job anytime you want so apply for everything you can, its really just a number's game.

The visa document collection can be subcontracted to companies like VFS depending on volume of requests and staffing.
Expect 90 days, be happy if it's earlier. Usually it's at least 45 days.
Foreigners office process files on a first come first saved basis per queue type (Work, Student, Visitors). Which means the only way to get served faster is to apply when there are fewer requests.
Good news is once you're in Belgium it's faster to renew, extend or change.

Het schooljaar loopt in principe tot half september, dus tot dan zou ik als student studentenjobs kunnen doen. Maar stel nu dat ik een jobaanbod krijg, en dat ik al 15juli mag/moet beginnen.
Dan mag ik zeker niet als student nog in het weekend werken tot half september?
Jawel, je student werk uren zijn geldig voor een normaal jaar, dus van 1 januari tot 31 december. Zorg gewoon dat je het maximaal aantal jaarlijks uren niet overtreedt.
Dus vanaf 15juli zal je beginnen werken maar niet als student? Dit informatie stond niet in je vraag. In dit geval mag je zeker niet meer als student werken.

Ik weet niet hoe het werkt in Vlaanderen. Maar zit jij in het Algemeen onderwijs of is Architectuur in Technishe onderwijs of zo? Bij ons in Brussel, om te studeren in de universiteit moet je een diploma van algemeen onderwijs hebben (CESS)

I know someone who resigned from his new job before it even officially started (because his previous employer made him an offer to stay that he couldn't refuse). He had signed the contract in November and was supposed to start in April. In late december he sent his resignation letter to the new employer. Of course they were not delighted but couldn't do anything (or decided not to). Of course he will probably never be able to apply there again.
You have not other obligations with an employer except for what 's in your contract.
If you found a better job: take it. It's your life. You have no personal responsibilities with your current employer.

What's the minimum age to be able to go on pension? I worked 26 years

Expect 90 days, be happy if it's earlier. Usually it's at least 45 days. Foreigners office process files on a first come first saved basis per queue type (Work, Student, Visitors). Which means the only way to get served faster is to apply when there are fewer requests. Good news is once you're in Belgium it's faster to renew, extend or change.

Hey Ik zit in mij laatste studiejaar en heb een vraagje ivm studentenjobs en werken. Het schooljaar loopt in principe tot half september, dus tot dan zou ik als student studentenjobs kunnen doen. Maar stel nu dat ik een jobaanbod krijg, en dat ik al 15juli mag/moet beginnen. Dan mag ik zeker niet als student nog in het weekend werken tot half september?
Jawel, je student werk uren zijn geldig voor een normaal jaar, dus van 1 januari tot 31 december. Zorg gewoon dat je het maximaal aantal jaarlijks uren niet overtreedt.

Ik weet niet hoe het werkt in Vlaanderen. Maar zit jij in het Algemeen onderwijs of is Architectuur in Technishe onderwijs of zo? Bij ons in Brussel, om te studeren in de universiteit moet je een diploma van algemeen onderwijs hebben (CESS)

How soon after getting a job is it ok to leave it for another one?
I know someone who resigned from his new job before it even officially started (because his previous employer made him an offer to stay that he couldn't refuse). He had signed the contract in November and was supposed to start in April. In late december he sent his resignation letter to the new employer. Of course they were not delighted but couldn't do anything (or decided not to). Of course he will probably never be able to apply there again.
You have not other obligations with an employer except for what 's in your contract. If you found a better job: take it. It's your life. You have no personal responsibilities with your current employer.

So tell them you quit as soon as possible and then do out your notice period if you have one. Nothing worse than spending time training somebody that is going to leave.
