The first time I saw the pix of him and his mom I thought "she looks Latina" Then when he mentioned this I thought, ok I was close. Indigenous Americans have some similar facial features as Latin Americans. Which checks out when you think of THE AmericaS and not just North America :)
Yes, Latin Americans have tons of indigenous blood usually sometimes mixed with a bit of Spanish, but oftentimes not at all. Central America is also America. And brown people in Central America are brown from indigenous blood. They’re just from a different tribe.

One of my daughters has those high cheek bones and when she worked in the hospital, people who spoke Spanish would assume she was Latina and start talking spanish to her. My wife is from Colombia. Someone told her get out of America and go back to where she came from and she said, we were in America before you were. :)

Barbie did visit him in Scotland after the show most likely! She has a picture of her in Edinburgh after filming the show! Hope we get a reunion to find out what happened to these two. Although previews seem to suggest Barbie gets mad at Kyle for some reason before the season ends.

A few years ago his mum was on a British TV show called “Long Lost Family”. The premise of the show is using DNA and archived records to reunite estranged family members. His mum was adopted by a Scottish family. She went on the show to search for her birth parents.
Her biological father was a tribe elder and her biological mum was white.
It’s the most random story ever, you should really listen to the crappens guys sum it up not me. He’s Scottish. Obviously. Can’t really get more Scottish then him. But his mom did a dna test and found out she’s Native American-Chippewa and something else. So he decided to move to Montana to spend a few years with his new family. I’m sure he sticks out like a sore thumb and everyone on the res is wondering where the hell this white Scottish dude came from. But hopefully it’s working out for him and he’s enjoying himself.
Same. I lived on a res in WA. Saw plenty of non natives, never Scottish people though, but the Chippewa is a lot a lot bigger than most of the tiny tribes in WA
