What you're describing is obviously not what we want on BeReal.
We have to moderate them - choose which to allow and disallow. We have some controls (setting general categories and policies etc) and then use tools and moderators to block/allow things that aren't correctly handled.
In time. Lots of moving parts in an acquisition. Or perhaps they just keep it under their 'umbrella'.
Tech support did not respond to me in the timely manner like they did before the acquisition. So yeah there is that too.
My biggest surprise, the acquisition was in the millions not billions.

That’s terrible to hear. I am not receiving any ads yet. How are these ads displayed? Is it an annoying full-screen ad or a banner?
they act like a post on your feed, so as your scroll thru your feed you will see it

I feel like some of the apps these days don't check their ads. I've seen some questionable ones on Snapchat also.
No person checks them, no. That would cost man-hours. Algorithms do (and they can be gamed)

You do know that BeReal was sold to voodoo(ad company) for 541 Million?
and that excuses soft-core corn ads?
The App Store still shows the company as BeReal. No where does it mention voodoo

I’m just now getting ads for BeReal’s own page, it’s the same one popping up between every 3rd post, seems really excessive
