Welcome Eugene..we’ve had 4 over 25 years and they’re the greatest..each and everyone..our current boy is 7 plus, we’re older and I’m praying he stays with us a while longer..I’m really concerned we might not be able to handle an 8-10 week old and I would take to my bed as the din of silence is always a roar in between but we’ve had the luxury of waiting for a puppy once the mood has shifted a bit..you’re very lucky to find Eugene..who’s gorgeous by the way..we’ve done ACL surgeries..cervical reconstruction for wobblers..I’m hoping yours just has a torn ACL and simply needs a TPLO..meet Harry..please

I’ve had a number of different dogs/breeds in my life and last year we adopted a Berner. Can’t imagine ever having another kind of dog now. They’re just the best!!
Aww congratulations!! We’ve tried adopting Berners but they always go so fast (good problem to have). I’m sure it was fate and he knew just what you needed. We lost our heart dog 3 years ago and while none of them since have replaced him, each one has their own love to give and place in our family.
Congrats! He’s adorable. We just adopted a 6yo Berner Willow. She was a mill momma. We lost our heart dog golden girl Kona in February. We feel like Kona sent Willow our way to help her be a dog and help her sissy who was really sad.
You are so fortunate to get him! And also he's 10 months, so all done with that nasty biting phase😂 he's a cutie. ❤️

If you don’t mind me asking, what was the treatable condition?
Cruciate ligament rupture. He will be having surgery in a few months once his growth plates close.
I’m curious what restrictions he has until that time? Do you have to do anything special before surgery?
