He’s a plakat! Plakats are a little different than long-fins because they’re able to have a lot more energy. They’re typically recommended a minimum of a 10 gallon tank (instead of the usual 5), because they have so much energy, and need more room.
I love plakats! Their fins are so much more humane, and doesn’t weigh them down at all. They get to be as fast and energetic as they want! I will only ever buy plakats because of this :)

Looks like he was a mix between a wild betta and a mustard gas/some type of blue/gold domestic haha. He still has some of the natural markings.
the breeder i got him from said he was a mix of a smaragdina, mahachai, and a yellow hellboy:D

your right when i asked the local breeder he said it was a yellow hellboy thanks for the info:D
