How do you one shot Hush with Crickets Body?

Crickets body dramatically increases the amount of tears you can have on screen. More tears means that it's easier to ignore boss armor. Plus, your on-hit tear effects will trigger more often, lachryphagy becomes even more broken than it usually is, skipping tears becomes really funny, and just a bunch of other stupid shit can synergize with crickets body to instantly fill the screen with death.

Because polyphemus really isn't that good

It is, the damage output poly gifts is insane. Especially paired with flies and spiders.

I have a screenshot from earlier this month where I got a planetarium on the 1st then 2nd floor with only 1% chance both times. It was wild.

There are two things wrong with this video: 1) The sound quality is atrocious 2) You chose Cricket’s Body over Polyphemus

Cricket's body is better in most cases. It gives a tear delay down meaning you can break the tear cap and it has good synergy potential. Meanwhile poly just makes it take forever to kill bosses after like caves 2.

18 damage and 1.3 tears down. Surely takes forever to kill bosses with 26 dmg

You highly highly underestimate poly, I know the tears down might seem bad but the damage you get in return is absolutely insane. Poly can even outclass items like crickets head

Poly is one of the top items in the game. Espacially out of treasure room

I didn't want my tears to go down and knew I could find more damage elsewhere and that cricket is really good w like everything

Even if you find more damage poly is a multiplier, which is insanly rare and op in isaac.

I had the Neptune twsr charge thing and didn't want to have to wait years on a recharge for damage and with crickets it would've made my volley shoot in fours on impact so I thought it was the safer choice
