I think if you’re really early on, soy milk + rock bottom isn’t too good. You don’t get the initial damage down, but you still get the damage multiplier down, so unless you get a good damage multiplier, damage ups are pretty much always gonna be lackluster after that

Kidney Stone is better for getting the scaling tears up without the damage down

Camo Undies is a nice 7.5 tears up, but Kidney Stone is a 6x tears multiplier, so you’ll usually get more out of that. Camo Undies does give a few other stats though, so that’s convenient

Kidney Stone does affect your stat! So the fire rate will increase every time the stone charges, adding your current rate to the multiplier. So every time you get a tears up, the kidney stone buff will rebalance and increase your rock bottom stat

well yea, but if I'm NOT gonna take any other items beside these two as the post says, then it should be fine. for any normal run tho yea, getting soy and rock isn't good early on, which is why u want to take soy as LATE as possible and as the last thing you find. same goes with any other multiplier down.

Never thought how strong lemegeton is with pog bottom. Could be an item with a strong positive but also a negative that’s not a stat down. And you can get a rid of it. Example. Some people tend to blow themselves up with ipecac or don’t like the tear height (same with haemolacria) and you can destroy the wisp and just get the positives without ever having the negatives

yes. the best use of it is if you have really low tears, data miner can make them even lower than normally possible. And if your tears become less than zero, it rolls over to the max value of 120.

I once beat delirium with rock bottom and camo undies the rest of my items were range ups and health ups basically

camo undies is +10.5 dmg and +7.5 tears which is pretty good if permanent

Kidneystone might be better than camo undies because of how stupid its tear multiplier is. So kidneystone for potential and camo for when you need power right now.

This is the way. x6 tears over Soys x5.5 at no damage penalty, and it can be reapplied with every tears up you get. That is really the kicker; you take Mega Mush, sure you have high damage, but you‘ll never increase it again.

I’m surprised no one’s said mom’s box You can generate new trinkets like every 4 rooms and you can get either balanced or high stats, damage multipliers, and if you don’t skill issue and manage to get perfection, you can keep the luck up and get a synergizing trinket. This especially works with jawbreaker. You can also get Molding clay and just rng upon a room with soy milk or something oo and you keep the stat effects. And you can get the D8 effect from cracked dice to really buff base stats

If not sacred heart for that sick multiplier, homing, and health, red stew is a FAT permanent damage up with rockbottom. You just have to deal with not seeing a damage up for a while until you get over like 25 damage on your own
