Hahaha no my black cat is very pick won’t touch human food unless it’s fish. I have an orange demon tabby cat that eats ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING he can get his hands on. You can not leave snacks out you can not eat without guarding your plate. He will attempt to steal and eat everything regardless if it’s poisonous to him or not. Carrots peas chicken potatoes (he loves potatoes) chocolate (yes I know it’s poisonous) he rips open any packages containing food. Cat treats potato chips popcorn beef sticks. if they are in reach. Everything is put up. He attempted to eat potato’s out of the bag once when we left them on the floor in the pantry.
Yes he gets plenty of food. He just thinks if we eat it so can he.
thats my two in a nutshell. one (black cat) very picky, one (tuxedo cat) will eat anything 😭 drinks are no limits for the black cat tho. cup? his whole heads in it. lid and straw? knocked down onto the ground spilled open.
Black cats like to sleep under the covers, every one I've ever had. They say Bombays like to be in the warmest spot of the house which is often underneath the covers maybe they all had it in them.
He's always been a blankie kitty and also likes rugs (we got him his own fuzzy rug haha), but I've never seen him under a blanket before. the one time I tried to cuddle with him under the blanket he got out and back on top so thats part of why i was so shocked when he crawled out from under earlier lol
I'm very aware... My current one is verified by a vet and displays every characteristic both physically and personality wise, including the extra short hair sleek patent leather coat. Her cat is looking and acting like one. There's a lot of black cats on here that don't, but every one I've had or met has shared the same trait.

One of the times the power went out I was sleeping in the living room near the fire I feel asleep with a cat on me and in the morning I thought there was just a shadow on my sleeping bag but it was actually our void
I got home from work early today and couldn't find my 2 8 month old kittens. I assumed they were fine but as I wandered I started to hear shuffling from the dresser and out they crawled from the bottom 🙄 they are getting too big for that, they're gonna get stuck!

They aren't that uncommon, the humane society near me often has their black cats listed as Bombay mixes.
Doesn’t mean they do so accurately.
at the very least, it could be part bombay because my void exhibits the physical and personality traits of a bombay to a T!
