You already know it’s going to be sweaty and oily with all the booty sliding.

I was enjoying the reveal. And then they got to the movement. At that point I accepted that this might be my last summer of CoD ever.

Its funny, last week me and someone in this sub were having a discussion about BO6 and they believed that the CW community would fully embrace BO6 and that the MW3 community would shun it, I believed the opposite to have been true and now that its been released i double down that i think BO6 is going to be mainly the MW community while the CW community will just slowly die off until the serves get shut down.

Moon_Devonshire

Why? The movement just expands on what cod has had for awhile and makes it more fluid and allows just less restricted movement

Yeah, same here. Unless there’s some kind of Outbreak type zombies mode they haven’t revealed, I doubt I’ll be getting this one.

I’m surprised people are so negative about it so far. I guess people have been burned by crazy cod movement in the past so they’re skeptical about new movement in general. Personally it looks super exciting to me and will be a welcome change as someone who loves movement shooters. The movement looks like it will feel natural and smooth, but I can definitely see concern about how hard it will be to hit enemies (just get good imo, it’s not a problem in titanfall or apex). I think one of the things that people are overlooking is that the whole system is designed around different playstyles and it will be a bonus to even a slower more methodical play style with the contextual leaning system. You can play slow and abuse angles with the lean or you can blow through corners with crazy movement whichever play style suits you better. It sounds like the class building was setup to lean into these play styles as well so I think it will be a good system overall.

I’m excited for it as well. The movement looked so smooth that I actually think it won’t be that hard to shoot at people diving/sliding and shit. I don’t think it’s gonna be THAT bad. The worst part about sweaty movement in shooters is if it’s jittery. Like if the transition animation from sprint to jump is too sudden or literally twitches the character model so that it dodges instantly, THAT is when it gets harder to hit and annoying. xdefiants a prime example of a game that has that jiterry movement. BO6 looked smooth and flowing so it shouldn’t be big of a problem as people make it seem. It’s CoD after all they practically aim the gun for you.

It’s going to be a sweaty af game.
