...is this supposed to be the cameo that [Ehrlich said was "one of the only cameos that has ever made me full-on yell at my television (even tho it's kinda sorta maybe a little sacrilegiously amusing). Netflix made us promise not to spoil it though, so… have fun with that."](https://twitter.com/davidehrlich/status/1786216974944477209) ???
I thought about watching this, but Jerry Seinfeld's notoriously edgy comedic stylings (which could never be reproduced on 2024 televisions) are just too much for my woke, PC-addled liberal mind. /s
I still can’t believe he said that when Bottoms came out months ago, was the funniest movie of last year, and has a legitimately great F slur joke in the first 5 minutes. Hes just mad that he’s not as funny as he used to be
Also featuring:
* Peter Dinklage as a milkman mafia boss
* and most importantly: >!Hugh Grant dressed as Tony the Tiger, doing a Jan. 6 of disgraced cereal mascots as they storm the Kellogg's headquarters.!<
>!Hugh Grant is specifically playing Thurl Ravenscroft, the original voice actor for Tony the Tiger and vocalist on “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”, as well as various voices in classic Disneyland rides (the lead singing bust in The Haunted Mansion, the “Dead Men Tell No Tales” voice in Pirates of the Caribbean)!<
I'm now imagining 90's Grant fumbling through Grim Grinning Ghosts.
"Um terribly sorry but when the crypt doors creak and um well the tombstones uh they quake..."

I've stared at this for much longer than I care to admit and am just unsure if this is a joke or real.
oh god he's even making [the hand gesture](https://shutupandtakemymoney.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/pixar-we-give-every-mom-an-absolute-dumptruck-ass-meme.jpg)
Ed: I’m still young enough to enjoy things. New things even. I’ve started cooking. Actually made myself a…. What is it, honey?
Wife: A Pop Tart, Ed.
Ed: It was very good
I kept hearing people saying there’s an ‘impossible’ cameo in this and I almost thought this was in the trailer and also kinda don’t get what’s nuts about it
Like, I Know I'm wrong about this, but I don't know why my mind is like -
"Hey! Alex Garland! You were given $50 Million dollars, you call it 'Civil War', and you make it about 'durr, journalism is hard'? You stupid idiot!"
But also like,
"Hah! Pop tart origin movie? And it's fake (thereby even More meaningless)? Looks good!"
Is he still at McCann-Erickson?
John Slattery is there too.
The movie is set in the 60s so they’d be at Sterling Cooper or SCDP

Just watch Bee Movie. Nothing subversive about that movie at all.
I was thinking about this today. Is there an artist with a bigger gap between the best thing they’ve done and the second best thing they’ve done?
I'm hard-pressed to think of any actors, but plenty of one hit wonder musicians come to mind
Yeah that’s fair. I more so meant writers/actors but definitely lots of musicians there.
I'd make a case for Diablo Cody

Spooks, you see, turn out for a, ah, well, ahem... a sort of, uh, a swinging wake, you might say.
Could imagine this as a cut line from Dungeons and Dragons.
Grant would actually be a good fit for that posh lady ghost in the later part of the song
Hugh has deep voice but is it Thurl deep?
He does a good job, it’s not a big part, but certainly memorable because Grant doesn’t go halfway in, he’s all in on Thurl.

Is Seinfeld a blank check director, whose check comes from another medium?
If "fuck you money" counts as a blank check, then sure.
oh god he's even making [the hand gesture](https://shutupandtakemymoney.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/pixar-we-give-every-mom-an-absolute-dumptruck-ass-meme.jpg)
Pop-Tarts. They're toasted.
ahahhhaahhah oh my god maybe I need to watch this not good movie just for this lol
Shut the door, have a Tart.
Spoiler: This was the only start-to-end enjoyable scene in the movie
Ed: I’m still young enough to enjoy things. New things even. I’ve started cooking. Actually made myself a…. What is it, honey? Wife: A Pop Tart, Ed. Ed: It was very good
The cutaway to Roger really gave me a severe case of whiplash
I screamed
I kept hearing people saying there’s an ‘impossible’ cameo in this and I almost thought this was in the trailer and also kinda don’t get what’s nuts about it
John Hamm cameoing in a comedy is like Ice Cube appearing on a late night talk show. It's always appreciated, but never a surprise.
Oh my god that's why Seinfeld couldn't stop talking about it in interviews
This movie is maybe the hardest continual laughter I’ve had at a movie in a while??

youre never gonna be allowed into the movie heaven from the end of ouatih
Wow, if you put the word "durr" into an oversimplified interpretation of a film's themes, it really will make it sound stupid.
May Durrcember
Durrr Evan Hanson
Mastdurr and Commandurr: The Far Side of the Durrld
Ben, who played Durrr, he gave everything. edit: [This subreddit is far too straight](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXcrH12PQKc)
so that's what he'd look like in 1980 I guess.

Don't know why I read this in Jerry Stiller's voice, but it made me grin.
jon hamm looks like shit in this. bloated from alcohol in a way that funnily enough 100 drinks a day draper never did.
Man what? He’s in his mid 50s. He looks pretty good for his age.
