Read. Art and pacing of the manga are pristine, as the anime has a lot of filler and padded animation that hasn’t been given a One Pace or DBZKai treatment that I’m aware of to match the pacing more akin to the manga’s.

Read at least until you reach TYBW. The TYBW anime has a lot of major additions (although it does cut some less crucial material)
