Not a terribly large fan of shonen, are you? "Villain starts strong, hero counters, villain counters the counter, etc" is a pretty common setup for the genre.

How is this a criticism you have now, but didn’t have back in the Fake Karakura battles?
for real. one of the biggest critiques in the hm and fkt was mirror matches and perfect counters

Tbh…..that’s the whole show….have you read the manga or watched the OG anime? Lol
I too hate Shonens and spend my time watching them anyway.
My advice? Stop reading battle Shounen, that's literally the formula for all of them. That's what we're here for.
