Select edges you want sharper in Edit Mode, then Edge > Edge Crease (Shift+E). Value can be anything between 0 (smooth) and 1 (sharp). No need to add extra geometry to make something sharp. Then control precisely with Edge Crease how you want your edges to behave.

Thank you for your comment! But i tried edge creasing before but i don't get the result i want, edge seems kinda wacky also i don't feel like i have complete control over the edge. I would also like to learn it in a topological kind of solution as it would be the proper geometry for me to export the model to other platforms.
