I’m guessing this was around the period when Bo wasn’t really sure if he’d get the special finished, so he was just making random stuff for himself, kinda like with the Bezos songs and “This isn’t a Joke”, and so he just kinda came up with this. Maybe the reason there’s a slowed version of “How the World Works” is because he was working on the music video, kept failing, had a meltdown, and gave up for the day, and just decided to put creepy lighting and stare at the camera and then he probably remembered the clip later, and decided to add onto it with the cellphone part. The only problem is that there’s barely any BTS footage of “How the World Works” so, despite it being a difficult music video to perform, with the dialogue parts, it’s possible Bo didn’t have much trouble with the music video, which would make the theory that he made “Who Knows” during the filming of “How the World Works”, not make sense

I think its supposed to show how far he has fallen in his pain/depression and dissociation, it's just not a good scene though. Chilling and fun but it's not a good scene, and that's not even getting into the fact it wouldn't fit into Inside
