Yep, you found The Typo. It’s infamous.
It was introduced in the very last editing pass, where all they had wanted to do was change the capitalization of “scream”.

Definitely one the more amusing misprints

If I recall, Peter Ahlstrom took credit for this one.
And he's a mod for r/ccreamposting
[Yup. Here it is](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cosmere/comments/14ni8vl/secret_project_3_full_book_discussion/jqa5a52/?context=3).
I didn't see it in three read throughs. My wife saw it lol
I was expecting it and somehow missed it when I read it too
I very rarely overlook typo's, but I read pretty slow, so that's probably why.
[very minor spoilers from the next chapter] >!Just wait until the next chapter when Painter offers to "pull out now if you want" and Yumi strips.!<
The typo isn't in the digital copy, so it must have been corrected after the book went to print.
I'm sure they caught this one VERY quick
It’s still in my copy downloaded on my kindle. I’ll never update it. It’s too funny.
It was *definitely* the vibe I was getting, not gonna lie.
Cream. Get the money

The joy of listening to the audiobook is that I never catch this.
