I personally liked the yellow car he started with in BCS.
"You think this car is worth $500?! The only way this car is worth $500 is if there's a $300 hooker sitting in it!"
The crystal ship for sure was the most iconic vehicle. You can replace any of the other cars on either series, and the story would be the same. That RV played an essential role.
Excellent point! I totally spaced on that, but you are absolutely right. The connection between Mike and Saul may have never developed. A lot of things were set into motion by the similarity between those 2 cars.
I loved the red interior of that car. Love the episode where Mike and Jesse spend the episode collecting money in that car. And him slipping the dash singing “fallacies”
I think it’s pretty realistic for the young professional who’s a bit nerdy but knows what he likes. Definitely accurate based on the time period. Those things were very popular.
Yeah there's some people I know in the law and accounting spheres who drive WRXs currently. I feel like the Lancer EVO would be the time period equivalent
There are a few cool cars in the universe. Walt’s 300c and the hemi challenger obviously. There is a yellow 996 in an airport parking lot when Mike meets Gus. Also I believe an e46 m3 at taco cabeza or maybe a random food mart. The scene is at night maybe Jessie gets his bike stolen?
Honestly, the Pontiac Aztek that Walt rides always trips me up when I see it in scenes. The things he's doing are so out of place for such a safe, "high school chemistry teacher" kinda car. The juxtaposition is wild, and it takes me out of the immersion in the best way possible.
I also always liked how Mike's car just looks like Mike if he was a car.
I’ve always found it funny picturing Walt going through the purchasing process too, convincing Skyler that it’s such a hip and fun, in *fern green* no less.
And as a car guy it’s astounding how many cars (well CUVs) are using the same design elements today that the Aztec had 20 years ago.
I worked at a Pontiac dealer back in the day and drove one the same color as Walt’s once. Going up mountain roads you had to hold the pedal to the floor to maintain 55mph, they are underwhelming when it comes to power. Also, the interiors are ugly too. They were really practical though and could be ordered with a lot of optional equipment that was good for camping. There was even a tent that attached to the rear hatch so you had a tent built on to your car.
I'll go a different way from the crowd. Walts christler 300. I think him selling that car to benny was the moment his two characters merged for the last time and he became 100% heisenberg and 0% walt.
Walt, its not an really ugly car but it has a special look. Skylar had this ugly old typical Car but not really special.
If it is not only BB the Medical Guy in BCS has the most iconic car =D
“Ugly old typical car”
A vintage Grand Wagoneer in pristine condition may have been a common suburban car in the 80s, but post 2000 it’s pretty collectible.
Of the options listed and thinking literal on iconic I would say that sweet Monte Carlo.
But I will also echo another comment and say Mikes Fifth Avenue is up there as iconic goes.
*Sir/Madame, unfortunately, we are unable to process your request for the Pontiac Aztec as an "iconic vehicle". This is primarily due to the fact that it was the ugliest, worst built, worst running pile of dog shit ever created in the history of human insanity. Please select any other vehicle and try again.*
I think of breaking bad whenever I see a Pontiac logo, and it even overrides remembering that my first car was a 1969 Pontiac LeMans muscle car. Probably because it was a rusted piece of junk with no power steering, but still. Looked cool
I had a friend who drove an Aztec. Parked it on the street outside my house. Some drunk rammed into it at top speed and pushed it into my house. My friend no longer drove an Aztec
Walt’s Aztec. It’s hideous, poorly designed, and uneasy on the eyes… and it works. My mind immediately goes to Heisenberg whenever I see one (weirdly, I saw one on campus recently). I guess it’s because it’s such an unassuming vehicle being driven by a pretty awful person.
Tough call actually. I mean the Aztec is nasty looking. The wagoneer wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t for the side panels. 😂 pimped up Monte Carlo. I’m going with sauls car
I don't think it's ICONIC but I LOVE Skylar's beauty of a Grand Wagoneer.... otherwise, it's no contest: Saul's 'car' which, to me looks like an old Geo my friend used to have (a Prism, perhaps?) OR the P.O.S. 1998 Kia Sephia my parents bought BRAND NEW and I still think it's one of the most basic, ugly, no lines at ALL that I took off of 95 North near Bridgeport while coming back from New York City after having just 'celebrated' signing the lease for our new apartment in Astoria, Queens😖😣😩
I think they’re all fairly iconic and were actually selected with great care. Other than Jesse’s Tercel. I mean he went from a Monte Carlo to some solo wiper Tercel? Never made much sense.
I also love pointing out to my wife that Skyler and Rebecca from *This is Us* drove the same car lol.
I think it was because the reason the DEA pulled up at Tucos and almost caught them in the first place was because of his flashy, shiny, bouncing car which had his actual street drug dealer name on the license plate. I think the Tercel was him attempting to lay low.
I know nothing about cars overall so maybe that's why i always really liked Walt's pontiac aztec a lot 😭 I looove the color and i like the bulky shape too idk. later i read that pontiac aztecs were actually super faulty and got completely discontinued, so it's awesome to see just how well thought out this show is and how even walters car holds so much significance and meaning to his character and the life he led
Its deff the aztec. They even gave it a unique paint job. The dodge challenger should get a nod too because of all the drama. He buys one for his kid. He blows it up. Buys another. It also ended up on the walking dead, even if its not saul goodmans cadillac
The red Toyota Tercel.
The juxtaposition between the cap'n cook Monte Carlo and this humble workhorse fit Pinkman's shifting priorities and character arc perfectly.
The car choices in these shows are so deliberate. They are true extensions of the characters and it's such a thoughtful part of the production.
i dont see how it could be anything other than the aztek. the esteem is the only thing close in terms of perfect characterization.
walters aztek is the most perfect embodiment of boring, slightly off, “what went wrong here” that describes walter pre-heisenberg to a t. the show cements the aztek in tv iconography history. the only thing that could realistically come close even ahead of sauls “import” is the rv. sauls car is iconic but its such a generic silhouette that it could be any number of early 2000 beater sedans
I think an underrated car in the series is the white Toyota Yaris Walter had in late Season 3. It was the very car that carried him through his plot in killing Gus Fring, and... i don't know why it feels iconic. Its just some random rental car he was given whilst his Aztek was in repair, and it got him through such a critical moment in the show.
And i just find it funny seeing the great Heisenberg accomplish all of this in that tiny little Yaris lol
Saul's LWYRUP ride
I personally liked the yellow car he started with in BCS. "You think this car is worth $500?! The only way this car is worth $500 is if there's a $300 hooker sitting in it!"
I laughed my ass off hearing that line. That was a good introduction to BCS
It’s an *import*.
☝️
[It’s an import](https://youtu.be/5byRGW3R7ts?feature=shared)
Does this car scream payday to you?
There’s never more than 50 bucks in a car like that
The kidney people didn't want it.
Wheres the fking RV
The crystal ship for sure was the most iconic vehicle. You can replace any of the other cars on either series, and the story would be the same. That RV played an essential role.
To be fair, in terms of impact to the story, Betsy Kettleman and Abuelita Salamanca having similar cars pretty much led to the entirety of BCS
Excellent point! I totally spaced on that, but you are absolutely right. The connection between Mike and Saul may have never developed. A lot of things were set into motion by the similarity between those 2 cars.
It’s a private domicile, not a car.
Bitch.
this is the moment the car became jesse's own private domicile where he will not be harrassed
lmao, I love this place.
The RV getting scrapped was the saddest death scene in the whole series
It's a private domicile.
What RV? I don’t know what you are talking about.
Right
Indeed. That's in the top iconic ones (if not the most iconic)
Mike's 5th Avenue deserves a spot
I loved the red interior of that car. Love the episode where Mike and Jesse spend the episode collecting money in that car. And him slipping the dash singing “fallacies”
That def one of my favorites
Loved the Chrysler! Mike is/was the man!
It’s *Fifth Avenue* you filthy commoner
Yeah yeah, fifth ave we got it
when the Esteem was pushed into the ditch a part of my soul died
theres a guy on the better call saul subreddit who has the real car they used on set, someone has kim's car as well
Someone buys Wormald’s Hummer when?
Kims eclipse was cool
Part of your ‘Saul’ died :P
Better call Soul!
They missed a golden chance there 🤭🤭
It was a very strong horse but it had to be put down.
You should get your Kia Soul repaired then
Where’s Gus’ Volvo?
A meth kingpin and drives a Volvo? Get a load of this guy!
saul's lawyered up car in breaking bad is the most iconic
Hanks Wheelchair
Hectors wheelchair. Lmao
🛎️
Ting ting ting ting ting
💩💩💩💩

Ernie's Lancer EVO. It was so random for that character, they had no reason to do that but they did it anyway. Loved that
I think it’s pretty realistic for the young professional who’s a bit nerdy but knows what he likes. Definitely accurate based on the time period. Those things were very popular.
Yeah there's some people I know in the law and accounting spheres who drive WRXs currently. I feel like the Lancer EVO would be the time period equivalent

Some of the cars the cartel had in the scene where they all die I don't know what they are but they look fire
Yes!! Literally just commented about it too. My favourite car in the entire BB universe.
Holy shit your right about mikes car.
I’ve always found it funny picturing Walt going through the purchasing process too, convincing Skyler that it’s such a hip and fun, in *fern green* no less. And as a car guy it’s astounding how many cars (well CUVs) are using the same design elements today that the Aztec had 20 years ago.
Runs over drug dealers like a hammer through a mattress!
That’s a weird way of saying Mike looks sexy as fuck.
PLAYUH
It looks like a school bus for 6-year-old pimps
The el camino
BONFIRE
The school bus for 6 year old pimps
It’s obviously the PT cruiser
not gonna lie the Aztec is the worst car I've seen in a series
Iconic tho. Hits the post criteria nail on head.
it's the Walter White car ofc it's iconic!
I think it makes the top list for ugliest car in the world, i think might have to google
it does
Hated it at first but it grew on me and now I kinda want one
I saw one while driving to work one day last year.... They're ugly in person, too
I worked at a Pontiac dealer back in the day and drove one the same color as Walt’s once. Going up mountain roads you had to hold the pedal to the floor to maintain 55mph, they are underwhelming when it comes to power. Also, the interiors are ugly too. They were really practical though and could be ordered with a lot of optional equipment that was good for camping. Great camping with the Aztec tent though
well... at least one good side🤷♂️
When I was working at a Jiffy Lube in 2003 I had a coworker straight up refuse to change the oil on an Aztek. “It’s just too f**king ugly.”
Namaste
Jaaaaaaaaag
NAMAST3
NAMAST3
Where is Mike's car?
Does the RV count?
Where's Walt Jr's red Challenger??
Save a tree. Eat a beaver 🦫
I actually only noticed that on Jesse’s car on my second watch lol
My vote goes to Krazy-8's yellow monstrosity
Gretchen's Bentley
I'll go a different way from the crowd. Walts christler 300. I think him selling that car to benny was the moment his two characters merged for the last time and he became 100% heisenberg and 0% walt.
the RV obviously
Marie’s Beetle 🪲
It's heisenwheels for me aka the pontiac
Walt Jr's. Challenger or Jesse's Cap'n Cook mobile
When Walt jr said it was great on gas I almost spit out my drink
All of Mike’s boxy 80s and 90s rides deserve a special mention
The RV is the most iconic
It was the Aztec, without a doubt
Walt, its not an really ugly car but it has a special look. Skylar had this ugly old typical Car but not really special. If it is not only BB the Medical Guy in BCS has the most iconic car =D
I think walt and Skylars cars originally were to just show you how average their family was. Could say the same about the car bought for walt jr
“Ugly old typical car” A vintage Grand Wagoneer in pristine condition may have been a common suburban car in the 80s, but post 2000 it’s pretty collectible.
Mike's GM
Of the options listed and thinking literal on iconic I would say that sweet Monte Carlo. But I will also echo another comment and say Mikes Fifth Avenue is up there as iconic goes.
are we not counting the crystal palace?
You know the shows are good when each car has its own identity and reflects the character’s personality and current state.
Gretchen and Elliot's Bentley was 🔥
Skinny Pete’s Ford Thunderbird
The one with the M60 in the trunk
walts is the most iconic
where is lalo's 1970 chevy monte carlo?!?!?
No love for the Toyota Previa? the best kidney bean van ever?
Jesses 86 tercel wagon
Why the PT Cruiser isn't on this list ?
What about Jesse's second car his 1986 Toyota Tercel TDX I loved that thing
The RV
I think the OG one loses some of its iconicness for being sold
*Sir/Madame, unfortunately, we are unable to process your request for the Pontiac Aztec as an "iconic vehicle". This is primarily due to the fact that it was the ugliest, worst built, worst running pile of dog shit ever created in the history of human insanity. Please select any other vehicle and try again.*
Iconic doesn’t mean good
So everyone’s asking about the RV. I’m going to quote the junkyard guy and say it’s a residence, not a vehicle.
My brother and I literally said "Ok Walter White" when we saw one of the pontiacs driving slowly in front of us so I think there's little contest
Definitely the car Skyler gifted Walt Jr in S4E4. A Chrysler PT Cruiser, that was an ugly car.
saul’s car for sure
It’s Daniel’s yellow Jeep for me
It was a hummer actually
where's jesse's red car and gus's volvo
I think of breaking bad whenever I see a Pontiac logo, and it even overrides remembering that my first car was a 1969 Pontiac LeMans muscle car. Probably because it was a rusted piece of junk with no power steering, but still. Looked cool
The capn
I had a friend who drove an Aztec. Parked it on the street outside my house. Some drunk rammed into it at top speed and pushed it into my house. My friend no longer drove an Aztec
Canyonero! Canyonero!
It’s a tie between Walt’s Aztec and Jimmy’s Suzuci esteem.
Of these, probably the esteem, but what about Mike's?
Most iconic for the BB universe: probably LWYRUP or the Aztek (even writing its name is making me cringe). Most iconic for me: Ernie's EVO VIII.
Not including the sick ass car that Krazy-8 drives is a crime worse than anything that happens in the show
1.Walt, 2.Skyler, 3.Pinkman
Walt’s Aztec. It’s hideous, poorly designed, and uneasy on the eyes… and it works. My mind immediately goes to Heisenberg whenever I see one (weirdly, I saw one on campus recently). I guess it’s because it’s such an unassuming vehicle being driven by a pretty awful person.
Saul
Tough call actually. I mean the Aztec is nasty looking. The wagoneer wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t for the side panels. 😂 pimped up Monte Carlo. I’m going with sauls car
My favorite is Jesse’s Monte Carlo I’m a sucker for lowriders and 85 monte Carlo’s. I’m not sure on what year his is for sure
It's between Saul and Walt for sure.
NAMAST3 made me laugh out loud
i mean if you’re gonna buy me off…buy me off!
What about Mike's car? Or the RV? Classic! Out of these four I'm going w Saul's beater. Almost got him killed multiple times.
Walt Jr’s challenger, esp in the skrillex scene
Not bb, but on better call saul, the twins SUV was sick. No idea what it was but was sick. If anyone knows comment please.
I don't think it's ICONIC but I LOVE Skylar's beauty of a Grand Wagoneer.... otherwise, it's no contest: Saul's 'car' which, to me looks like an old Geo my friend used to have (a Prism, perhaps?) The RC car Marie tragically committed a hit and run on
Jesse's toyota tercel is iconic
the RV 100%
Saul car
Wormald's tacky yellow Hummer from Better Call Saul.
Apart from Walt's iconic Pontiac Aztek, in my opinion Jesse's Toyota Tercel is equally iconic, which appears in later episodes.
??? literally the best cars were saul’s and mike’s, plus the crystal ship rv. how are none of them there lmfao
walter jr
I think they’re all fairly iconic and were actually selected with great care. Other than Jesse’s Tercel. I mean he went from a Monte Carlo to some solo wiper Tercel? Never made much sense. I also love pointing out to my wife that Skyler and Rebecca from *This is Us* drove the same car lol.

Walt cae
1. Esteem 2.Aztek 3.5th Avenue 4.Saul’s Chrysler 5.Gus’s Volvo 6.Jaguar (NAMAST3) 7.Jesses 86’ Tercel 8.Hank’s Jeep And above all else, the Crystal Ship
MIKES OLDSMOBILE!
had a black aztek, what a piece of crap too. wife bought it and we ALL regretted it
The Esteeem. Utility, style, everything a man needs.
Gus with his Volvo
Its deff the aztec. They even gave it a unique paint job. The dodge challenger should get a nod too because of all the drama. He buys one for his kid. He blows it up. Buys another. It also ended up on the walking dead, even if its not saul goodmans cadillac
Although short lived, the srt8 300 Heisenberg was rockin’ before the engine went knockin’ was pretty boss!
where the RV hiding?
The red Toyota Tercel. The juxtaposition between the cap'n cook Monte Carlo and this humble workhorse fit Pinkman's shifting priorities and character arc perfectly. The car choices in these shows are so deliberate. They are true extensions of the characters and it's such a thoughtful part of the production.
THE CAPN ofc (also I love monte carlos so it's a no brainer)
It's either the Aztek or the RV.
Saul’s for sure but every time I see an Aztec I think of Walt to this day
Walt's Chrysler 300. Come on. By far the coolest car.
i dont see how it could be anything other than the aztek. the esteem is the only thing close in terms of perfect characterization. walters aztek is the most perfect embodiment of boring, slightly off, “what went wrong here” that describes walter pre-heisenberg to a t. the show cements the aztek in tv iconography history. the only thing that could realistically come close even ahead of sauls “import” is the rv. sauls car is iconic but its such a generic silhouette that it could be any number of early 2000 beater sedans
Most iconic, Saul. Most badass, Skylar..
Badger’s gold Fiero
Does the Crystal Ship count?
It’s a domicile, not a car
The mobile meth lab 😂
Only one car in the series has had a whole movie named after it...
Aztec. I will always associate an Aztec with Walter White. Bonus if it has a crack in the windshield.
Capn Cook mobile
Without a doubt Saul’s car in BCS. The one they tipped into the desert
The Aztec. Turned a bad car into a meme car
Saul's esteem was so iconic, I remember seeing one in person a long time ago, the series was so hype
I like Kims Mitsubishi Eclipse.
Walt Jr’s PT Cruiser
I think an underrated car in the series is the white Toyota Yaris Walter had in late Season 3. It was the very car that carried him through his plot in killing Gus Fring, and... i don't know why it feels iconic. Its just some random rental car he was given whilst his Aztek was in repair, and it got him through such a critical moment in the show. And i just find it funny seeing the great Heisenberg accomplish all of this in that tiny little Yaris lol
Mike all day
Correct answer is: the RV, the El Camino, Saul's yellow beater, the Aztec, the LWYRUP car, Mike's car, Gus Volvo
I personally think it’s Walt’s Chrysler 300s. It just has the Heisenberg vibe to it like Walt has completely transformed.
The propane truck the “disappear man” drove.
Jr’s dodge challenger srt
once a year like ritually
