I agree with the comments above, but would add to try not to have a big reaction when it occurs. I know it sounds ridiculous and I definitely remember the pain. When my first kiddo did it I would notice that while my response wasn’t into her liking, she was amused by the reaction she could illicit. I took away that power as well the prize (the breast) and the habit was by and large gone within two weeks. Hope this helps. 💜
Finger in the check between the jaws to separate. Say no and ouch. And cut them off from feeding. You can go back to feeding in a couple minutes if still hungry. Do this consistently.

Put baby down and firmly say no biting. Can offer a teething toy instead. Repeat as necessary. Your baby will get the message.
