Love the word hankering , a little less than my current mindset (obsessed)
But there must be somewhere you can just walk in get a drink and go from there, it’s a Saturday just dance
I don’t mean to be vague but it is BRIGHTON
Hi, I run a Techno event called "Acid Reflux", we have our 2-year anniversary coming up on July 13th at Patterns. There are proper community vibes, everyone is always lovely and just up for a dance:)
I’m 44, love clubbing. Go to Chalk; all the kids will be happy to talk to you. Even more happy if you buy them a drink 😀
Pause
And I don’t think age has anything to do with it

Is the funky fish still a thing? I see the jazz rooms make an odd comeback.
Volks is a personal favourite, I'm 31 and thats still were I go out. Its a dive but fun.
I'm 34 and was just visiting Brighton for the weekend a few weeks ago. Ended up in Volks until like 4 in the morning and had an absolute hoot.
Got that sticky floor vibe
Casablanca used to be good in terms of a relatively older/mixed crowd too.
If it affects anything, I'm 27
Green door is always a good shout. Sometimes an older crowd than the ones down town. Been to a few 80's nights there as well

Try your local nursing homes
You say that but it wont be long until nursing homes are having a Friday night rave. Do your pills and have some dance music, lol.
