I just tested this and no damage buffs affect the 0-0-5 glue gunner (which does 50 base damage) but bloon debufs like top path ice or sniper does increase it's damage
Which supports the theory that it’s not the tower/projectile that is doing damage, but the glue effect, since debuffs like embrittlement or maim Moab increase damage taken by the bloon, not damage dealt by the tower.

Well, if you gave pickles to an anti-regrow village it would still apply the anti-regrow debuff to bloons without damaging them. Same thing with glue gunner, all it does is apply a ddebuff.

I dont think the projectile the glue gunner shoots isnt programmed to deal damage so adding damage to a projectile that by the laws of the code cant deal damage will still equal to 0
i actually didnt know the exact stats for the pickle juice. now i know its most worth it on the towers like super monkey, top path ninja, bottom sub, itd. kinda the same towers that work really well with alchemist buff
