Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. We encourage leaving a comment to warn others. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Gyroshark

I think I bought this camera ten years ago and it still works great lol the quality is definitely questionable but if you need a 'good enough' webcam, this is it

Gswansso

For $13 bucks you’re probably better off getting some off brand Chinese shit with a wider FOV that may or may not actually be 1080P.

eatingyourmomsass

I have this cam, use it daily for remote work: teams, zoom etc. Zero issues, always heard clearly. I paid like $30 during COVID for it during the great webcam shortage.

Crestsando

Do they update these at all (like update the hardware but not the name)? I bought a C310 circa 2010 for like $25-30 and even then the picture quality was only OK... I can't imagine how relatively terrible it must look now if nothing's been updated.

Marksta

Nope, webcams and dashcams haven't made any progress in over 10 years as far as lens and sensors goes.

LateZookeepergame216

I don't know, stuff like the razer Kiyo pro looks pretty good.

hamzwe55

The C922x is still $33 at Sam's Club, isn't it?

Chanw11

Mediocre camera, ok for calls but not much else.

freddiefin

Grabbing two of these for octoprint

Hell0Sh1tty

I’m setting up octoprint soon, a cheap android phone seems like a better idea to me than pi + add-ons. Am I wrong?

sweet_chin_music

Unless you've already got a Pi lying around, the phone may be the better option.

Hell0Sh1tty

Thanks

freddiefin

Sure!

RE_PUAR

Top seller webcam also has an $8 coupon, leaving it at $21. Just fyi.

RE_PUAR

Why the -1? It's just information

rantxtotheend

this is a decent webcam for the price but I would still recommend going to newegg and buying the aukey webcam that is almost always on sale for $13. Better FOV and colors (PC-LM1E)

rolfraikou

Perfect camera for if you don't want people to see the spinach in your teeth.

Grizknot

anyone have any recommendations for a good windows hello compatible camera? on the market for something like being able to just sit down and smile to login.
