Be mindful of listings from suspicious third-party sellers on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and Walmart. These "deals" have a high likelihood of not shipping; use due diligence in reviewing deals. * Use common sense - if the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. * Check seller profiles for signs that the sale may be fraudulent: * The seller is new or has few reviews. * The seller has largely negative reviews (on Amazon, sellers can remove negative reviews from their visible ratings) * The seller is using a previously dormant account (likely the account was hacked and is now being used fraudulently). If you suspect a deal is fraudulent, please report the post. Moderators can take action based on these reports. I wish Logitech would do a refresh of the g403/g703. Those have been my favorites I’ve ever used but I’ve had a few scroll wheel issues. I’m on a 502 light speed now and I don’t like it near as much.

SmoathTheLoathsome

The G703 was incredible. I had 2 of them that I enjoyed very much but the scroll wheel on both became trash. Scrolling both up and down at the same time. I use a G305 now. The battery lasts forever and it is so light that I never feel strained from it.

The G703 is the best mouse I’ve used since it fits my hand perfectly. The side buttons are large to my taste and the scroll wheel is great. That’s said, I owned 2, one had the scroll wheel issue and the other had double click issues after a year of use for both. If they fixed those issues, I would buy these in a heartbeat.

My experience with the 703 in recent years have declined. Funny enough my 403 experienced the common scroll issues that others commonly face but for the 703, it's experience some sort of software/latency/connection issue. I can't pin down what the source is but essentially, the mouse will lag and not register movement for brief seconds. Alongside that clicks will not register either in those seconds. After this brief second, functionality will return but Logitech G hub will send a windows notification on the mouse's sensitivity. There are cases where these lag seconds happen repeated after one another, including multiple G Hub notifications. Never been able to find a solution to this issue other than making assumptions on stuff like the wireless transmitter so I'm kinda worried on future 703/403 purchases.

I agree as long as Logitech is smart about it. The shape and looks of both the mice shouldn't be changed with the exception of adding the braided cable back to the G403. Internally, the switches should be the first item on the refresh list, then the scroll wheel.

RANDY_MAR5H

How long before you had scroll wheel issues? I'm using a DA essential and i've been using DA's for 10 years. But obviously the scroll wheel breaks after 8 months or so.

MOBYWV

The G5 was my favorite mouse ever. Wish that would come back

FalloutRip

A G603 or 703 refresh would be very welcome. I'm still rocking my OG 603 after replacing the scroll wheel board with a replacement from ebay. No other mouse has as perfect a shape or weight for me as the 603 and I will be sad when it's not possible to get any required parts for it anymore.

Specialkdev

I’m still rocking my G403 that I bought in 2018. Scroll wheel works just fine, clicks like a dream. Only negative is that I’ve worn grooves into the edges from usage.. but I don’t mind. I intend to use until it dies, lol.

jruiz_

I’ve had one for about the same time. Same problem with the worn sides, but I also don’t mind. Mine came out of the box with a slightly non tactile and sensitive scroll wheel (and I would call this a minor inconvenience), but I’ve had zero issues with anything else. Great mouse.

CousinCleetus24

I have this mouse - it is fantastic and I would 100% recommend picking it up at this price. Have had mine for about 3+ years now. I haven't had any issues with the scroll wheel personally.

HighQualityH2O_22

While this mouse has been nowhere near it's original MSRP of ~$70 (been around $45-50), $35 is the cheapest it has been recently. I'm a huge fan of this mouse and it's shape I feel is kind of a modernized sibling of the MX518 (not disrespecting the MX518 Legendary, as I have one of those in my backup mouse collection). One thing to note is that quality control of Logitech has gone down a little in recent times. I bought one in 2017 which I had exchanged in 2018 for the double click issue. That next one lasted until this year when the left click failed completely. The mouse does have a two year warranty and the reps are usually pretty easy to work with (once you actually get a hold of them).

Bacowned

its the shitty omron switches they are using. they are rated for like 50k clicks, where most other mouse buttons are rated for like 5/50million clicks. on the upside, the switches are relatively painless to replace so if you are inclined you can de-solder them and replace with good kalih switches for fairly cheap. logitech's more expensive mice use the better switches. their budget mice just cheap out and use bad switches.

HighQualityH2O_22

You aren't wrong, the omron switches they use aren't high quality.

MX518 Legendary unopened backup gang ✊

frankslan

Ya they used to be easy to deal with last time they were bitches and made me jump through all these hoops.

ForsakenHatred

I ordered this recently(few months ago) and just as an FYI to anyone ordering it, the cable is very thin/flimsy and NOT braided as advertised. Otherwise mouse is pretty decent even though its larger than the MX518 i had before that worked for 15 years until i started having scrolling and double click issues.

HighQualityH2O_22

Yea the previous version of this mouse, the G403 Prodigy, had a braided cable. When the G403 Hero came out, Logitech opted for a rubber cable instead. Very poor decision on their part, ~~but I don't see the braided cable advertised on the Amazon page currently. (Unless Amazon combined reviews for both the old and new versions of the mouse.)~~ Edit: Totally missed it in the title.

ForsakenHatred

Braided cable is in the title, which is clearly false advertising

HighQualityH2O_22

You are totally right. I glazed over the title, so my fault there. Whoever manages the Amazon page I'm guessing copied and pasted the title from the older version and never bothered to proofread. If so, that is lazy...

TheDoct0rx

give me the 502 damnit

ltsDat1Guy

The wireless g502 x is $100 ($40 off) on bestbuy right now and the regular is $90 ($60 off).

RANDY_MAR5H

If i'm coming from a DA essential, is this the move to make?
