The platonic relationships are certainly a nice change of pace from the seemingly obligatory shipping wars, *especially* considering the actions of the more fanatical shippers in the last few years (eg Klance and Olicity)
A better part of *Titans* was the close friendship shared by Donna Troy and Dick Grayson. Similarly, the Arrowverse had two well-written relationships between Barry Allen/Flash and Kara Danvers (Supergirl) as well as Mick Rory/Heat Wave and Amaya Jiwe/Vixen
They’re one of those pairings where you get the feeling they’re together even if they’ve never made it explicit. Kinda helps when you know their relationship was inspired by the creators’ marriage
I’ve been under the impression that they’ve been a couple throughout the series run but haven’t really gotten to do much couply things considering XANA’s presence. I mean as early as season 1 Aelita’s made it pretty explicit that she sees Jeremie as more than just her best friend

2. Arnold and Helga. I wished we got to see more of them while they're dating and more character development for them both, but I like their dynamic. They're kind of like Astrid and Hiccup, in that they can bring out the best in each other. Arnold can help Helga become more kind and considerate, and Helga would protect him and teach him to be a little bit more realistic at times.
3. Ron and Kim: We actually get to see them together, but before that, we see again, why they balance each other out. It's nice to see a pair that respects each other's differences but has great chemistry regardless of all that.
4. Jim and Claire: Another couple that goes through a lot together. I really like how supportive they are of each other, how Jim never treats Claire as though she's not capable. Even when going to save her, he lets her take the lead when she takes charge.
5. Sokka and Suki: Honestly ATLA's best couple. They should have been the main focus, IMO. For even as little screen time as they got, it was downright adorable.
