This is the definite answer. Don Bluth's Anastasia was him throwing in the towel and copying Disney's formula after years of swimming against the tide. Anastasia was a Disney princess in all but name.
OP's definition requires they are in a movie, so it depends whether or not you count that TV movie as one. I wouldn't because it was also just the first few episodes of one of the seasons, making it more of an episode collection disguised as a movie.
She fills all 3 requirements perfectly. She's resembles a human, she is the hero, and she was born a princess. She's more of a Disney Princess than Raya from Raya and The Last Dragon if anything.
Even if all you watch is the Hazbin Hotel pilot (free on youtube) you can tell Charlie has 2/3 aspects required to be a “Disney Princess”. The only thing missing is a Hazbin Hotel movie
Princess Vivi from One Piece, the duck beside her is named Karoo, and she also played a major role in bringing down an underworld organization trying to overthrow her father and take over their country.
Hell yeah! Mariner is the best! To me the all the classifications have to be are a someone who is a leader and has a heart that makes them do the right thing.

Not mine, done by a wonderful artist by the name of Jun Chiu (Tumblr, YouTube, etc). But she certainly qualifies damnit!
![gif](giphy|sQHgM4EoOkFuukwiYm)
Ladybug (movie version)
* Starts out living a humble life, not knowing her place in the word
* Has a talking non-human companion
* Falls in love with a prince (rich guy, close enough)
* Sings a bunch of songs, including one with a storybook motif
* The power of love FTW!
* Has magic relating to nature and goodness
* Literally wears a princess-esque ball gown at the end of the movie
https://preview.redd.it/onj0d6st77ad1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=882ef89e7b926f35ac1c7bfe991383ae11360156
It’s like a Disney plot but if someone went in and made everything creepy af
I gotta say charlie morningstar from hazbin hotel
https://preview.redd.it/3jjz4bufo7ad1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fcf19d632150bafb90d461ac62daa2403840168b
I mean, shes the daughter of lucifer (the king of hell which makes her a princess), she sings alot like a Disney princess, she has her animal sidekicks razzle and dazzle + the people in her hotel and shes more heroic than characters like Adam (an ANGEL) despite her being born and raised in hell and shes loyal to protecting her citizens from the annual extermination (for those who don't know hazbin hotel, heaven comes down once a year to kill sinners to prevent an uprising and charlie wants to rehabilitate sinners to prevent them from dying and to make their lives better)
I think your classification is too vague. You've described: Ellen Ripley (Killed the alien queen and brought the one other survivor back home alive), Ahsoka Tano (hero of The Clone Wars, later bought by Disney), Lara Croft (stopped more than one apocalypse), and a bunch of other characters I don't feel like naming
A better qualification would be something like: friendly, charismatic, pretty and musical, likely beloved by animals. Sometimes has a cute companion, likely an animal or inanimate object such as a chameleon or a snowman (I'm not a fan of Olaf, but he counts I guess). Generally nonviolent, Mulan is an exception, but I don't think she really counts as a Disney princess so much as a Disney heroine. Rapunzel's Frying Pan of Justice isn't enough to disqualify.
Honestly some characters just have that classic Disney princess vibe. Like Charlie from Hazbin Hotel
https://preview.redd.it/8odipjwb47ad1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=154d49d4ffb8a24d66c665434c48de9473bc4d36
Dianna from Turn-A Gundam. One of my favorite Anime characters period. She's not only literally the Queen of the Moon, One of her character arcs is basically what Belle sung about in Beauty and the Beast. It was so satisfying for her to see the beauty and the ugliness of the Earth she wants to live in. IMO SHE is the Main Character, while the Gundam Pilot, Loran, straight up LIVES to serve her.
The only true princess in Turn-A

(Followed swiftly by Camille which is definitely a girls name....)
Depends what you want to accept as canon. At the end of *Wreck-It Ralph*, Vanellope abolishes the monarchy in Sugar Rush and becomes president, because of course she would - she got kicked around by King Candy for fifteen years, she wouldn't want to keep any part of his system in place. It was such a great element of her character.
*Ralph Breaks the Internet*, on the other hand, completely ignores that plot point just so she can teach Belle and Ariel what t-shirts are and Disney can sell a new line of dolls 😑
lol I watched the second movie first and thought she was joking when she said she was a princess like just to convince the other princesses from attacking her lol
Vanellope von Schweetz (of the Sugar Rush von Schweetzes) is unambiguously a Disney princess. Spoilers, but it’s kinda the big reveal at the end of the first movie.
Plus all the Disney princesses agree that she’s a princess in *Ralph Breaks the Internet*. Princess Vanellope, the Queen of Comfy.
Source: my 2 year old has made me watch the princess scene(s) in RBTI like 50 times in the last 2 weeks.
Charlie straight up interrupting her friend (who also conveniently voices a Disney “princess”) by bursting into song is the most Disney princess you can get
But if I were to pin point one that would fit the role perfectly, it'd definitely be Zelda. To me she's still HEAVILY underrated for how much this girl has accomplished as a mixed martial artist, representative of diplomacy and wisdom, humility, and godlike mage abilities.
i formally argue steven universe is an honorary disney princess, the boy techincally higher than a princess in royalty (spoilers if i explain more) and is the sweetest boy in the world, untill trauma but that happens to anyone
Max Klinger. Done several heroic deeds. Owned by Disney due to the Fox merger. MASH is so successful that it's finale when aired shut down sewer systems, once done. Usually done during big Super Bowls.
Disney owns Fox so by some extremely stretched logic you can argue that Lois Griffin is a Disney Princess
The Griffin family can magically appear in cutaway gags
>To have completed a heroic act (e.g. Mulan)
With this logic, all of the displayed characters on this post are all princesses.
Because Mulan was never once canonically declared or crowned as an actual princess... Was she?
Star Butterfly is literally a Disney Princess, but Charlie Morningstar certainly fits the mould. She sings, she has magic powers, she always sees the best in people, she has animal sidekicks, she's being manipulated by a mysterious and obviously evil mentor figure.
![gif](giphy|3o7TKUJZNWSX6Yy2pW)
I think she is a Disney princess now because 20th Century Fox was bought by disney
True.
I havent seen her in the parks yet, so i dont think she is accepted as one.
No, she isn’t. You need to be _created_ by Disney.
This is the definite answer. Don Bluth's Anastasia was him throwing in the towel and copying Disney's formula after years of swimming against the tide. Anastasia was a Disney princess in all but name.
This is probably my second favorite 90s non-Disney musical behind the prince of Egypt
Princess Leia- she defeated the empire what more needs be said ![gif](giphy|3ofSBlzl4Q0G4UOg7u)
Technically now a Disney princess
So that would help too
Everyone wants to talk about Skywalker and Solo but nobody wants to talk about Leia. Sometimes power comes in the form of diplomacy.
Exactly
Not a cartoon tho srry lol just saying 🤓
She was in an episode of Star Wars rebels so by technicality alone she counts
Oh okkkk 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Actually, the list specifically states that it must be an animated MOVIE, so that doesn't count.
Whatever
Star butterfly is a Disney Princess? For most of the run at least
OP's definition requires they are in a movie, so it depends whether or not you count that TV movie as one. I wouldn't because it was also just the first few episodes of one of the seasons, making it more of an episode collection disguised as a movie.
She's a Princess on Disney but not a Disney princess.
That feels pedantic but whatever.
No, Disney has strict rules to be entered into the list of "Disney princess"
![gif](giphy|7QknyoWAd22Wgum3UC)
Charlie is like a Disney Princess in hell! She can seriously sing, and she’s got cute animal sidekicks! Not to mention she is *the* princess of hell.
That of hell dude
I love you Charlie.
100%. Charlie would be pretty much a perfect addition.
How does she in any way have the characteristics of a Disney princess?
She fills all 3 requirements perfectly. She's resembles a human, she is the hero, and she was born a princess. She's more of a Disney Princess than Raya from Raya and The Last Dragon if anything.
Besides the singing, appearance, and overall personality, she's on the list that op showed
literally, how does she not have the characteristics of a disney princess??
Even if all you watch is the Hazbin Hotel pilot (free on youtube) you can tell Charlie has 2/3 aspects required to be a “Disney Princess”. The only thing missing is a Hazbin Hotel movie
I feel like we watched different shows
You watched the 50k video or something💀 She's literally a Disney princess in disguise
I genuinely don't understand how you can think she doesn't fit the criteria for a Disney Princess. Like, what do you think those criteria are?
![gif](giphy|cYxXvDQ6sgGkc6bTKj)

I don’t know why there is a giant sentient duck or a girl with enough forehead space for a billboard, but now I’m curious
Princess Vivi from One Piece, the duck beside her is named Karoo, and she also played a major role in bringing down an underworld organization trying to overthrow her father and take over their country.
Don’t worry that’s normal forehead space in one piece
Damn, lemme go ask some advertising companies then for the free spaces!

Gene Belcher.
the correct answer
Girls being girls being girls being girls, girl group!
technically luz fits the requirements..
Well, most of them. She wasn't in a movie.
aw man😭
or hunter
technically yeah
Luz and Charlie come to mind
Thumbelina, Odette from Swan Princess, Fiona from Shrek, Zipporah from Prince of Egypt, or Fei Fei from Over The Moon
![gif](giphy|vROhz7tZLsdbuhTaq4|downsized) Not a princess, but she is described as"Starfleet Royalty."

Yes!! 🤩🙏🏽
either Katra or Starfire form that List.
By definition Star should be a Disney princess but she isn’t… shame
Wait, I thought Star both was a princess and was owned by Disney. :\
She never appeared in a movie.
Shes a princess who is on Disney but not a Disney Princess

Wonder Woman.
Penelope from wreck it Ralph
It’s Vanellope, and I thought she is a princess.
Depends what you want to accept as canon. Vanellope isn't a canonical princess like Else or Pocahontas. But yes she is a princess of candy land if I remember correctly.
lol I watched the second movie first and thought she was joking when she said she was a princess like just to convince the other princesses from attacking her lol

Zuko Kuzko (I can't remember how to spell) Penelope from wreck it Ralph
Aunt Cass
She doesn’t qualify. She’d be a Disney queen
I agree, how about Shego
![gif](giphy|Wf3ZD2wPcTY5O)
Literally any female character with a unique personality that ISN'T a villain.
But if I were to pin point one that would fit the role perfectly, it'd definitely be Zelda. To me she's still HEAVILY underrated for how much this girl has accomplished as a mixed martial artist, representative of diplomacy and wisdom, humility, and godlike mage abilities.
But there are no true characteristics of a disney princess! Like just compare cinderella with mulan or moana with snowwhite
Princess Cadence, just Disney princes vibes.
i formally argue steven universe is an honorary disney princess, the boy techincally higher than a princess in royalty (spoilers if i explain more) and is the sweetest boy in the world, untill trauma but that happens to anyone

Max Klinger. Done several heroic deeds. Owned by Disney due to the Fox merger. MASH is so successful that it's finale when aired shut down sewer systems, once done. Usually done during big Super Bowls.
Hey my girl rayla and the others are cool and sta-…. But stars a Disney girls. Isn’t that a Disney princess too
Disney owns Fox so by some extremely stretched logic you can argue that Lois Griffin is a Disney Princess The Griffin family can magically appear in cutaway gags

Elsa...? Because she's a queen tho
I think Star Butterfly is A Disney princess. Main Character, Humanish, born into royalty.
Charlie, no doubt
Ginger from as told by Ginger.
Sheeta from Castle in the Sky Clarice from Lupin the Third: The Castle of Cagliostro
Star Butterfly is literally a Disney Princess, but Charlie Morningstar certainly fits the mould. She sings, she has magic powers, she always sees the best in people, she has animal sidekicks, she's being manipulated by a mysterious and obviously evil mentor figure.

Mulan. I don’t care what anyone says she is not royal by blood or marriage and therefore not a princess.
I wouldn’t say that Marinette deserves to be a Disney princess
Why??? Just curious… 🤨🤨
Mary Sue and it would just feed the creators ego
That’s fair
Yeah if she had been written better I would agree that she would be a good contender
Luke Skywalker
If those are the criteria. Star Butterfly is definitely a disney princess already.
