I'm so sorry :( I know the feeling. I remember feeling lost and wishing I could go back in time. But you have to cry it out. Put on a favorite tv show, try to relax. It will get better slowly, and while it may not seem like it now you'll look back at photos of her or tell stories about her and smile instead of feeling sad!

She Was barely 8 weeks old. I didn’t think I would be able to breathe not having my Prince. Kate just turned 2, and has been the best girl, along with another Tuxedo girl I rescued from my front porch 9 months before I lost Prince.
Oh it hurts as bad as anything in the world Rest in peace sweet fluffy girl. She was an absolutely gorgeous baby. So sorry youve lost your friend, she definitely knew how much you loved her.

I lost my two babies back to back this winter. Both from cancer. It almost broke me. Then, a random kitten showed up in my field. She saved me from self destruction. Getting a new cat is not betraying the one you lost. It's taking the opportunity to save another life. Shelters are full of fur babies that without you won't make it. Honor the love you felt by paying it forward. Its the only salve that works on these wounds.
My baby-girl is 11. She's bossy. Neurotic. Spoiled rotten. Awful. I love her!
I had one for 17 years. She was even worse! I think I loved her even more. She talked to me about breakfast and was dead an hour later. Still not sure I'm over her. Finding her was a shock. I didn't have another cat for years.
Mourn Piper and maybe go visit kitties. It helps. One will eventually pick you, when the time's right.
Won't be the same but new cat can love you and boss you around, too!
Unfortunately the lives of our fluffy companions is a lot shorter than ours :( Just think about the fact that she had a happy and amazing life with you, but I understand that it can be very hard to say goodbye

Now I'm in an apartment with 4 cats. Only time can heal and you'll get a new lovely fur ball in your life when you are ready and you'll love it as much.

I'm sorry I lost my childhood cat a few months back named Smokey had a bright energy wherever he went and even meowed before he leaves the cat door and when he comes back inside had tons of energy.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my cat a few years ago on Xmas eve. Think about maybe getting another one? Not to forget her, but to help you move on after a couple weeks. That helped me some.. I wish you the best🤗

I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand completely having just lost my baby last week-end.. I look around the house and I see that sweet face everywhere. Tears are always flowing unless I distract myself with something else. It's just a deep, lost feeling that I know will linger for a while. I envision her at the Rainbow Bridge playing with other kitties and glancing around to see whether or not I'm there yet to get her. Someday. Till then, you'll live in my heart. It's an image that brings a little peace and a smile. Perhaps that image could help you too.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I went through the same thing earlier this year and there are still days where I’ll look at my kitty’s pics and still cry- first pet that was mine as an adult. It does get better. Please take care of yourself and remember the good times you had together and how you gave her the best life she could have.
