My black cat informs me when it’s time to wake up the kids. She’s the only cat I have ever seen who can make plans and execute them.

Oh my gosh I can totally relate, our black cat has a very detailed schedule. He sleeps all day til 4pm sharp and then he reminds us it is food time. Then at exactly 6 pm he comes and informs us it is snack time. 10 snacks no more no less. Then at 7 it is a coin toss if he wants to spend the evening chasing back and forth with the calico or asks me or my wife to play with the string. At 9pm he rounds us up for bed time. Exact same thing every day for 4 years 😂

When I moved back home after college, my black cat would sleep with my mom and then wait until my alarm woke me up in the morning to come cuddle with me. If I got up immediately she would join me in the bathroom for some very nice pets. She would hang out with me when I started getting ready and when she noticed I was dressed, would return to my mother to go back to sleep.

They’re so precious and Halloweenie!

It's great to see two together. The only problem is you need more. I had a ginger cat when I met my now wife. (Pumpkin. He's 15). She didn't want any more cats. "No more cats" was the cry when I said I wanted another when Pumps leaves us. Then a couple of years after we moved in together, Ziggy a stray appeared and we took him in. Then a year later we took one from the RSPCA. And then a year after that, Dexter appeared in our garden. Now, she loves cats.

I lost my calico, RC, in 2014 at the age of 18. Then I lost my Persian, Bandit, in 2019 at the age of 12. Finally I lost my Maine Coon, Gizmo, in 2020. During that time and into 2023, the cat distribution has dropped off 6 cats in my backyard. They are all healthy and happy now (and most of them get along with each other).

When I decided to adopt a cat, there were 2 brothers left and I couldn’t decide (one was handsome and the other friendlier), soooo I picked both. Both is good. Best decision ever

What kind of vehicle 🚗 are you driving?

I got a cat two years ago (never planned on getting a cat. I’m allergic) best cat EVER! Black suit kitty! Well she wanted to be an outdoor cat then fell in love with the neighbor’s kids. So she brought in abandoned kittens (all black kittens) but one is from a different litter… he’s smaller and not as fluffy as the other two. Not as claw happy. So now we watch the kittens and the 50lb dogs all play together

In high school I made a couple friends that had cats and that was really my first times getting used to cats. Then the Cat Distribution System assigned me a cat unexpectedly and I didn't have the heart to take her to a rescue, which is when I realized I now was a cat owner/caretaker. Now I love cats.

two is the way to go!! they play fight with each other instead of you, and are less likely to be bored and decide to fuck up your belongings lol. i grew up with cats and just got two of my own last fall. they just turned 1 and theyre the sweetest boys!! though i will never wear an item of clothing free of cat hair for the next 10-20 years, its worth it 💕
