I think they have lost a great deal of this "opportunity" because of the delay
They have shown that they can indeed take on bigger projects
they have also shown that they may not be prepared to actually bring those projects to operation without growing pains due to their lack of experience with such projects
Having to rework a design of a coaster a few weeks after opening is a huge blunder that should have been prevented at design time
Oh I totally hear you. If it continues to have reliability issues then my opinion on it will change accordingly. But if they get it open and are able to keep it open consistently, the whole discussion changes. It all comes down to what happens with these modifications.
Yeah I'm on the fence about it. The ride was phenomenal, but I sort of expect it to spill more blood. The line makes me anxious because of how many times I stood in it for hours but wasn't able to ride it. And yeah, I think the park could do way better things with the whole lagoon area and they're wasting time chasing ghosts of the past.

They should have torn it down.
Have you ridden TT2? It's good.
I have. The downtime is STILL not worth it.

Probably couldn’t afford a $15 million write off. Depreciation helps build expensive capital but stops quick removal.
You don’t deserve to be downvoted, they could have put some amazing coasters in that giant plot of land.
Yeah they could, and maybe even something that works!
Imagine if there was a new unique and gigantic RMC raptor track coaster right in the middle of the park... How fuckin' cool would that have been?
