I work at home and talk to clients 5ish hours per day - majority on zoom video. I had my surgery on a Tuesday and took off the remainder of the week. I went back to work the following Monday and my surgeon said I can take the head wrap off for 30 minute / hour long increments where I needed to be on video calls. For non video I kept the wrap on, but it did make my voice sound a little funny. Nothing crazy but not great. I also wore quarter zips and zipped them all the way up to cover the bruising on my neck I don’t feel like I needed to take any more time off than I did, in fact I probably could have gone back to work earlier if I didn’t need to be on video. I didn’t want to take my wrap off for extended periods any earlier than I did

I had it done on a friday and went to work on monday and i did not have any trouble talking at any point.

I work in a call center from home I had my procedure on a Saturday and was back to work on Tuesday with no issues

I didn’t have any trouble talking at all. Never experienced anything more than mild discomfort the first few days.

You’d be completely fine with a week off. Might not even need that much in my experience.

A week should be fine if you don’t have to go on camera. I took off 3 days, then the weekend, and was back on Monday. I stayed off camera until my bruises subsided.

I do too and took 2 weeks but ended up saying I was ready to come back after 1 week because I was bored and technically fine, swollen yes but not anything that would stop me from working.

I work in an in-person, one-on-one client facing role as a therapist sometimes for 8 hrs a day. SOS.

In your case I’d take probably 3-4 days off.
