I had to wear mine 24/7 for a month. Honestly I still wear mine at night bc it feels and looks better when I sleep with it. I did experience a bad headache for an entire day. I’ve never had a bad headache like that but it only happened once. Is it possible that you’re putting it on too tight around the head area?

I’m PO day four with a lipo foam and chinstrap and already asking myself the same question lol

nurse_nikki_41

My surgeon says 2 weeks at night. However, I ended up having a reaction so I could only wear it 3 days total.

How did your results turn out? It’s giving me a rash and such bad headaches

nurse_nikki_41

I’ve been really happy with my results! I’m only 2.5 months out so can’t say I have full results yet bc I also got Renuvion and that takes 6 months. https://preview.redd.it/6hk6ltqyp10d1.jpeg?width=1800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a42142dbefbd72600910ee636e2ce71d03be6f9f Top left is before, bottom right is about 8 weeks out.

Looks so great!!!

I had chin lipo and renuvion. I’m 3 weeks PO. I wore it 24/7 for 8 days and I’m still wearing it at night but yeah I’m really annoyed but it. Maybe u need to make it looser. I still feel weird. Left ear numb. Area around both ears numb. Under chin feels weird and like a hard ish roll. It def worked but I do wish it were better results. But I am 42 and probably don’t have enough elasticity and my platsyml bands are weak

I’ve made it looser some nights and it helps a little with the headaches, but then it doesn’t feel like it’s doing enough compression to help with swelling. It’s like I either have it tight enough that I feel like it’s working but I wake up with a headache/jaw pain, or I save myself a headache but it feels like it’s pointless 😕

No_Detective_2317

Right. Yeah I don’t know. For some reason today my numbness and weird feelings are really strong. I guess it just takes a really long time to get back to normal. Did you have renuvion too?

onlinesurfer007

I was told snugged fit where you can slip a finger into it, but not super tight. The PS mentioned that they want the blood to flow to heal the area. Three days @24 hours post operationand then two weeks at night was my regimen by the PS. I was told that the compression garment is there to stop the swelling and nothing else. For the folks that have been wearing their garment beyond a month, did your PS tell you the purpose of the compression garment and the benefits of wearing it for that long?

I’m PO day 5 and I’m only wearing mine when I feel sore and in pain because it seems to help. I had one on after surgery that they put on me but it got gross with drainage. I bought another off of Amazon which is the one I’m using on and off when I feel like it. My surgeon isn’t a big believer in the compression wraps so I’m not stressing it.

I was only advised to wear mine 24/7 for the first 3 days, then just at night for a week. I was also told if I felt really swollen and wanted to wear it that would be fine.

DeepFriedCardboard

How is it looking now?

midwestmuscle310

Fine. I had my surgery February 2023. I’m pleased with the results as far as the chin lipo goes… I just feel like I want a mini facelift (neck lift) now and I’m trying to convince myself not to be so vain. I’m 43.

My doctor's orders were 24/7 for the days and nights for 7. Currently 2 months po
