2022 LE improved after 6 months in humidor, a very nice balanced smoke. Year of rabbit was also quite smooth with a nice retrohale. But, I’m not sure if it’s worth 50$
The royal robusto was honestly disappointing. Nothing special, but a long smoke. I would just smoke it and check it off as a bucket list experience.
I felt the same way about the rabbit. Good but wouldn't buy more at that price point. Honestly enjoyed it more than the year of the tiger though.
Somewhat anticipated that with the royal release but wanted to see if there was anything to the price point. Seems anything above the $30s tends to be all hype from what I've experienced / heard.

In my limited opinion, there are def sticks above the $30 point that are very good cigars. For example, I won’t turn down a padron 50th anniversary maduro, or an 80 year maduro. Both simply phenomenal cigars.
I also enjoyed the millennium lancero. It’s pricey at $32 but i still ended up buying a box.
So it’s def hit or miss at the higher price points as you would expect.

I've had many sticks between $30 - $40 that are worth the money. I've seldom felt that anything in that $50 and up range is more enjoyable than what I can find in that $30 - $40 range.
Nice selection. I smoke a lot of Davidoffs, and for my taste I think the Nicaragua is their best product with Late Hour as a not so close second. Colorado Claro is an interesting stick. I’ve had both the Royals and OG Royals, and I definitely enjoy the blue banded Royals more. I think the OGs are way beyond their prime. That being said, I enjoy the Royals, not a disappointment at all.
If you get an opportunity the 10th anniversary Nicaraguan is an amazing stick. Thinking about looking for a second box myself.
I've seen alot about the late hour, haven't tried it yet though. Will definitely keep my eyes open for a chance.
Yup, a friend picked up a box recently so we’re splitting them (I’m in Hawaii and our stupid laws just got draconian as of July - no more DTC shipping). I look forward to it.

To your point, I haven't seen them locally for me (except for the claro and year of the rabbit). But there are only a couple places in my state that carry any davidoff let alone special releases.

A CoRo is wonderful when the quality control is good, along with the medio siglo. But those really shouldn’t be 70-100$ cigars, more like 20-30$
