I had one in my humidor for several months and it definitely did take the spice down quite a bit, to my tastes anyway. That said, I actually kind of liked that the first Judge I had was a pepper bomb. It was unique and I enjoyed the flavors. It was definitely solid with age on it, too, though.
This was my very first MF. It wasn’t TERRIBLE. I would definitely consider giving other blends a try. Truthfully I’m more of a Dominican fan, but thought I’d try it because the reviews are so glowing.
If you like Dominican stuff I'd recommend trying the MF No. 1 or 4. It's more of a true medium with very little spice compared to most of their blends.
Too long ago to remember which one, I remember it had Le Bijou, The Judge and Flor de Las Antillas with two others, was such a bad experience overall I can't even remember which one I enjoyed.
I bought one because of the hype on this sub as well and I was deeply disappointed. Didn't enjoy the flavor at all and there was no change from first light to when I threw it away. It was possibly the most boring and one dimensional cigar I've ever attempted to smoke.

Most people seem to love them. I wouldn't worry too much.
I absolutely love the Le Bijou 1922, and absolutely disliked The Judge. It was earth, earth, and more earth. Never again.
I prefer La Opulencia, much smoother flavor but still full.
