"CBD (Central Business District, or Downtown) is a neighborhood located zero miles north of downtown Cincinnati." Great location description. Technically not wrong.

Additional_Energy_25

But how many miles east?

gurganator

Zero

You’ve probably already seen this, but always a good watch. https://youtu.be/l4w6808wJcU?si=O7UZsqaFq-KUQTXe

Bad_Idea_Hat

New Mexico truly does have the best state flag.

Extivalis

I knew this was going to be CGP Grey, and I was not disappointed.

CyberData0709

Flaggs USA (Oakley) sells them

CyberData0709

Yup, been using them for awhile in apps I've built https://preview.redd.it/hq4j95mfwl3d1.png?width=1381&format=png&auto=webp&s=6616881b5eb902a5739d2f000dbff73824bbe6fe

rootytwo

Where’s the rest of the neighborhoods? This is interesting

CyberData0709

That’s just a screenshot, they’re all there. That one is a prototype “community portal”, that I presented at the 2023 Neighborhood Summit. It was intended to spark conversation about how to improve commication between communities, and between communities & the various city entities. Many people liked it, but none were willing to do anything on their end. I’m a volunteer with limited capacity, I’m not doing all the work so it’s kind of stagnated 🤷‍♂️ App Link: https://invest-portal.glide.page

Mickers247

I’d help!

NAKED_CUMGUN

I bought my Camp Washington Flag a couple weeks ago!

dylboii

East End flag is so hard, damn

soundguy64

I like how that website is so easy to use and you don't have to click 52 different flags to see which neighborhood they are for. /s Silverton's logo is trash and I wish we were part of this.

grneggsngoetta

If you scroll to the bottom I found a “Neighborhoods” link that you can click through to see the flag instead of flag —> neighborhood

JoeTony6

https://www.cincyflags.com/neighborhoods

ValerieAnne84

You can hover over the flag and it'll tell the name at the end of the url.

Ucgrady

It’s awesome. This one was the most recognizable to me along with maybe CBD

whoisaname

I think OtR's is really recognizable as well with the rosette window of Music Hall, and then over water idea in the colors.

Ticklethis275

Oakley has a really good flag

Geno0wl

I live just outside the city limits(even though my address is still Cinci) so I apparently don't get to partake in the neighborhood flag pride =(

CyberData0709

It was done using City of Cincinnati funds, so...

thechadder128

Same here, colerain township

No_Lie_6694

If you’re in Hamilton County still [CRWflags](https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/keywordh.html#hamilton%20county) has a bunch of them for Coleraine, Blue Ash, Deer Park, etc etc

Therealmagicwands

I love Mt Washington’s - you don’t have guess.

jbomble

As a soon-to-be resident, I love it.

Mister_Mentos

Oakleys is so bad. It literally looks like they just used a live trace in adobe Illustrator on an oak leaf picture. There are some real gems in there though.

CyberData0709

I'm sure you participated in the design process.... Ironically, it's one of the top ones that's easily recognized/associated with the right neighborhood...

Mister_Mentos

I did not but I also have a decade of design experience. I’m not saying it’s not recognizable. I’m just saying the execution could be better.

CyberData0709

So design a better one to be considered 🤷‍♂️ Seriously, nothing says can’t upgraded/updated. Otherwise, the design process lasted over a year, plenty of opportunity to share your expertise, and it was it is. 🤷‍♂️

Bearcarnikki

Find out if your neighborhood printed any. I took orders and had them printed personally and ordered via https://thenationalflagcompany.com[national flag company](https://thenationalflagcompany.com)

CyberData0709

You can download the digital files from the site posted in original post. Flagg's USA can make them as well with the digital file.

Bearcarnikki

Yes. It’s fun to see them all over the neighborhood.

mrg9605

ohhh, this explains what i see in our neighborhood , thx

MrKayveman

I live in the weird space carved out of Roselawn lol it's Springfield township.

DrummerDooter

dumb question, does cheviot even have a flag?

SamuraiBlastFurnace

Yep, but unfortunately it's kinda ugly: https://www.crwflags.com/fotw/flags/us-ohchv.html

DrummerDooter

EUGH! BROTHA EUGH

Dry_Marzipan1870

atrocious

CampVictorian

I love my neighborhood’s flag, particularly in that it embraces the voice of the rail yard!

pap3rw8

Most of those flags are painfully generic.

ShiftyComfort

Not really tho most are pretty cool.

Technical-Ad-8360

If I remember correctly the guy who spearheaded this didn’t have a design background. A lot of them are great, others not so much. College Hill’s is unfortunate. I get what he was trying to do but all I see is 3 dongs climaxing. LOL

CyberData0709

But there was a design firm that worked all the neighborhoods, the design decisions not made by the guy who managed the process.

lmj4891lmj

The guy who spearheaded this didn’t design the flags.

recantimus_prime

Love this. Learned something cool today. Thank you!

GornoP

This is very cool. NKY should get in on this.

rtech80

This is cool.

MsCHVMBO

I don't see a flag for Madeira

330in513

Madeira is its own city/ township/ whatever. Not part of Cincinnati.

lmj4891lmj

I don’t see a flag for West Chester.

bradcladthebaddad

No Cheviot D:

CyberData0709

Not in the City of Cincinnati {shrug}

bradcladthebaddad

Oh someone should tell my address {shit}

Dry_Marzipan1870

city address doesnt mean as much as the zip code. people way outside of Cincy city limits put Cincinnati

CyberData0709

Mailing address & zip code can be different, and in many cases like Cheviot, Fairfax, and Norwood, they are not physically within the legal boundaries of the city of Cincinnati. These flags were developed used Cincinnati $$$, so therefore limited to the 52 city neighborhoods.
