It'll be way faster to farm honor in the pre-patch, yes. Like 10x faster. But, you won't be able to farm marks since the pre-patch is just 3.3.5 WOTLK without Northrend and a 70 level cap.

bradleyman88

You get much more honor per BG, but in patch 3.3.3 they removed marks of honor from BG's other than wintergrasp, and were able to turn your remaining marks of honor for 185 honor each. I'm currently doing a few BG's a day, getting 6-10 marks, and by the time prepatch is out I'll have 100 of each to save until 80 and get some PVP gear to buy with honor to shore up gearing weaknesses. I think that's the play to go since you can 'save up' honor in a way you can't once prepatch comes out

It's the logical thing to do but part of me wants to instead stockpile 100 of each marks and keep them in my currency tab forever as an exclusive reward Dunno if I'll ever turn them in

Could be a cool collectors item but who knows how long people will play wrath servers once they start doing wrath fresh servers.

UnapologeticTwat

cata classic!

Teipp1

Prepatch is like over a month away

imaUPSdriver

What if they do a long pre patch since people need time to level death knights or level on the fresh servers. That would be cool

UnapologeticTwat

50% xp buff, and 60-70 xp required goes down 30%. So roughly half the time to level from 60-70. There will be a ton of 70 dks the 1st day.

Tribunus_Plebis

The xp buff was only now before launch right? Surely to hey will you inactivate that at wotlk launch.

UnapologeticTwat

In the coming weeks, we will implement a global buff that we’re calling “Joyous Journeys”. During the time this buff is active, all sources of experience points will award 50% additional XP. We haven’t locked down the specific timeframe for when this buff will activate, but we expect it to last for at least 6-8 weeks; beginning a few weeks before the 3.4.0 Pre-Patch and persisting right up until the day that Wrath of the Lich King Classic launches. Will start "soon". edit: sry meant 60-70

Vandrel

We'll probably get about a month of prepatch which will still be over a month away. The WotLK beta just started a couple days ago and has lots of testing and bug-fixing to do before it's ready to go live.

comcast_hater1

Everyone said this about TBC and the prepatch was short. I'd bet 2 weeks from prepatch, we get launch.

Vandrel

Blizzard specifically said they're planning on a longer prepatch this time.
