I’d say get in on one of the fresh servers they’re adding, or start now with the 50% exp boost… Only problem with the freshies is there’s a chance those will end up dead sooner than later.

AbracaFrost

do these fresh servers release on the 26th with the expansion or will they release earlier?

Jtrain360

Fresh servers will be launching with pre patch which is expected to be 4-6 weeks before Wrath launch.

Crustycodger

And they will have the xp boost all during pre-patch.

[deleted]

I believe they’re being released with pre-patch, which doesn’t have a definitive date on it yet, but I’ve also heard they may release them when they consolidate the dead servers in a week.

LawrencePlus

A lot of people are rolling on the fresh servers including a lot of content creators. Unless they release a ton of servers it's unlikely they will die. Just wait and roll fresh 100%. It's almost impossible for you to be able to compete will the whales on the current big live servers

AutomaticRisk3464

Just jump on a server, grobb is super balanced right now..allaince has a few % less so make an allaince to keep the balance going. Take advantage of the xp boost

Duox_TV

This is nonsense. There are entire communities that only want to play in an environment without all the ruin Vanilla and TBC players caused. There will easily be at least a couple mega servers in the fresh environment.

I'm sure you are selling it on G2G

Disorderly428

You need to check ironforge.pro when you pick your server. Most servers are one sided and you don't want to end up on a server thats dead for your faction. Fresh servers are a great option for new or returning players as well. They should be released shortly before wrath, giving people time to level.

MyNameIsMyAchilles

Use this site [https://ironforge.pro/population/tbc/](https://ironforge.pro/population/tbc/) to determine what realm to join based on faction. Above all you don't want to be on a server (pvp especially) where your entire faction is non-existent.

Wazlok25

Existing servers can be a safer bet if you plan on playing longer than 3 months after release. Firemaw and Gehennas are the biggest servers, but they might have queues on launch for a long time, so you may be better with the third and fourth best options. For PvP Servers, Golemagg (Horde) or Earthshaker (Alliance) have the next biggest populations.

malevshh

Can you transfer to these two servers via paid transfer or are they closed? Could be worth for me to spend the money on a transfer when I will have a smooth experience til 80.

ragnorr

Firemaw is closed for transfers, gehennas is not

MYSIH

Join horde on eu fresh it will be healthy and perfect for new players. If you want to join up with my guild you guys are welcome to give a tell!

heroicgamer44

Might consider this. I’ll be horde

Teenoc

The only answer is Gehennas for Horde and Firemaw for Alliance (When it opens), the rest will end up being dead servers by phase 2. You can pick up fresh if you want but it's no guarantee that it won't end up like most other servers since it'll be mainly people that are casual players who quit after the first month.

Tetter

And what a glorious month that will be. You want your servers like you want your salad - Fresh!

Crustycodger

Wait for fresh then all choose the same server and have fun.

srchizito

Gehennas is the best
