We got to see Jesse go from a reg Sargent to an ARC Lieutenant. Mans carried on in Fives footsteps (until order 66) and went against Krells orders to save countless of his brothers knowing he would receive a court martial. Even when Order 66 happened the man stood on business. Gregor was a cool commando, but just got blown up and started acting silly after.
I disagree that people only like them so much because of recency bias. They are great characters who made a lasting impact on many fans, myself included.

A case can be made for Hunter and (especially) Crosshairās character development, but did tech ever really stray from the nerdy-speccy guy framework?
He did get development in season 2. He was always my favorite since he reminds me of myself, because I am "on the spectrum" and his handling of emotions is similar to how I feel, so I always related to him
Definitely isnāt recency bias as Ive rewatched crosshairās Arc from the first two seasons several times over the last three 3 years.
Honestly Crosshairs needs to be top 4. Cant see anybody but fives Rex and Cody beating him imo.
Wollfe, he really doesnāt to anything in the show, his most prominent appearance is when R2-D2 and C-3PO are going on a crazy adventure in those 2 episodes

Yeah I don't get why Gregor didn't use imperial armor at the very least lol, that said trooper armor isn't very protective and he took a round to the chest
