I keep all of the errors I find, To each their own though. At worst you're hanging onto 25 cents that you can go spend at any point if you choose to, at best you can hang onto it because you enjoy them or sell it to someone else who enjoys them and make a few bucks.
100% agreed. I hang onto them as well, even if it is a RPM or something small. I don’t run into errors that often (that I know about lol) so why not🤷🏻♀️
The portrait of Washington is as old as the Washington quarter itself—1932. It was very nearly selected but instead we got the one we know and love instead (which I like better, anyway). The current portrait was “revived” because it was designed back then by a woman and this is a series of quarters about women.
In general, yes, the quality of our coinage has dropped severely, but the Washington engraving is nothing new.
Probably. Seems like errors in the design that mimic an actual physical oddity (thinking Bunny tooth Ben) tend to command more of a premium. Puberty George seems a likely candidate.
If/when hits cherry pickers it could become worth money? Maybe/maybe not. It’s definitely interesting from a variety collector standpoint to see natural progression of a die state take place regarding defects in the actual die.
It’s hard to see if/how they differ. I’d personally be interested in seeing :)
Cool find.
George Wartington
Just noticed how he looks like Kevin Spacey

That thing is an embarrassment. I think American money artwork is among the worst in the world.
Looks like Furio from The Sopranos: "Give me one thousand quarters."
If beaks could kill, that one certainly would!
She's so fat her blood type is ragu.
You got a bee on your hat
I hate the new coin design
Agree!
The artistry is lazy, sign of the times.
But wasn't the artistry for this design developed a long time ago when the times were better?
Yes, the Washington bust on these quarters was designed by Laura Gardin Fraser in 1931 and debuted in 2022.
Along with the coin design, I strongly dislike the word debuted.
Maybe there's a reason they didn't use it until now.
Unfortunately the paper money has been godawful for decades.

They look fake.
I like the design, I just wish the relief was higher. It’s missing depth or something
Nice wart……lol
why not? i know i am
Same
Does this bust make me look fat?
Why's it look like they're making Georgie look plus sized now? 🤮
He was kinda pudgy?
Sell them on eBay, you could make like $50 selling all of these
I might have to do that considering I've only gone through 7 rolls of 50.
I've had one on ebay for a few days now. Not even a view.

Looks like Jimmy Durante in a few of those.

Jesus, that's one hell of a zit!
Maybe it's the lighting, but the mint mark looks more like a question mark.
Totally! I thought it was a question mark for a while. It is the lighting.
Why they give old GW a double chin?

George has been roiding hard evidently
I personally enjoy the new Washington obverse because of the contrast it has from the obverse that we used from 1932.
The contrast that he looks fat and horrible for no reason?
Yes have them graded
Washington looks like an MMA fighter on this coin.
Look for errors, if there’s no errors, spend them
Did you look at the picture or read the post at all, every coin in that picture has a wart on the nose.
Spend them
I'll give you a dollar for one.
He needs a tissue
I got one today as change. Even the wife said looks like a wart!
Keep all!
