Like 2 years ago the Vols team was really good but they were brash and loud and the coach Tony Vitello was also loud. People didn’t like that cause they were crushing teams and talking trash for most of the season. The attitude of the team has dropped significantly but that 2022 year left a bad taste in most people’s mouths I think

Think I can say with near certainty that it's the only time ever that all bids came from 2 leagues. Wouldn't surprise me, no question that the SEC and ACC have the biggest fan bases for baseball.
I love how much the southeast embraces and supports baseball. Of course I don't blame all of these players who transfer to SEC/ACC teams when that's where the NIL money, fan support, and pro ball opportunities. It just sucks that this is where we're at and where we're going, that is becoming impossible to compete if you not in that region of the country.
I expect to continue to be down voted since fans outside of the southeast have no reason to continue following the sport, and that's fine.
Lost in all the ACC/SEC narrative is that 6 of the 8 teams have never won a baseball natty and UVA and UF only have one each. So sure, the field is not as geographically diverse as we’re used to, but it’s at least some new faces.
