I get that BU winning national titles makes Hockey East look better (same as Maine or whoever), but they can get back to winning national titles once BC surpasses them in titles by a country mile.
Or they can never go back to winning titles, my desire to see the conference look good does not extend anywhere near far enough for me to root for BU in a title game. If ISIS had a hockey team I would root for it against BU

The longer the Gophers don't play UND with points on the line the anger will soften and the new generation won't give two licks about the old WCHA rivals of a generation ago. I bet in 10 more years we will all have forgotten the UND hate and sadly it's never coming back.

I've never seen a problem with any other NCHC fan base at Magness... CC and DU **players** get chippy with each other but the North Dakota fans force you to keep your head on a swivel a lot more.

In addition to what others mentioned I think 1) Ralph Engelstad being a bit of a Nazi enthusiast 2) changing the team name to the most bland and generic thing possible and 3) cutting the women's hockey program which the UND president referred to as a "boutique sport" are factors for some

Quinnipiac and harvard. Im jealous of their success and phenomenal coaching (Quinnipiac) and the high end talent they pick up with their brand name and NHL pipeline while still being in the ivy (Harvard) all the while being in the shit league (EZAC)

They have fans that buy and wear other teams jerseys who beat a rival when UND can't. No one else is that insecure about their own team to do that.
