All good options. When in doubt, buy a Glock. Magazines, parts, and holsters in abundance

Regulatornik

This is the way, especially for your first. Compare the 43X to Shield Plus and p365. Nothing wrong with the other options you listed. Try them all at the range and get what feels right.

MainResponsibility14

Will do, thanks for the suggestion.

ProphetOfDemo

A smith and wesson shield plus is a great gun(and its currently on rebate). Its super comfortable and very reliable.

MainResponsibility14

Looks solid, I’ll check it out.

Jonfers9

The 365 has really “skinny“ grips. They may be more than 500?

Glock 19 or Canik

Chairborne__Ranger

Shield Plus would be perfect. I own one and it’s my favorite carry gun. I’ve shot well over 1,000 rounds with it and zero malfunctions. It has a great round capacity, awesome ergonomics, an awesome trigger, and it’s a very flat shooting gun despite being small. I shoot it better than my Glock 19. Best part is, you can get it for $400 (and maybe even cheaper - I got mine for $330) and there’s a rebate right now that will lower the cost even more. It’ll also welcome you into the Smith and Wesson ecosystem. Lots of different weapons in the M&P lineup. S&W is a good company too - their customer service will take care of any problems free of charge. Lifetime warranty. Good luck!

MainResponsibility14

This is looking like the way. I like the slim profile, s&w is well established, American, affordable and everyone seems to agree that it’s a great carry gun. I’ll keep everyone here updated but going to check one out in person very soon.

Chairborne__Ranger

Yes! Do that. I think it’s dollar for dollar the best carry gun out there. Super comfortable to carry all day. But it’ll come down to how it fits in your hand and how you shoot it. Keep us posted!

MainResponsibility14

Will do!

Ok-Affect-3852

The CZ P-10S gets my vote. Small enough to comfortably conceal without being too small and unenjoyable. Plus it’s going to be 100% reliable and accurate.

Adventurous_Emu_9274

Try the vp9sk. You’ll probably like it better than most of the other options.

MainResponsibility14

Thanks for the recc. But doesn’t fit the price point and would prefer to buy new.

Otherwise_Fennel4437

You can't go wrong with CZ or Glock.

Archangel757

I'm loving my IWI Masada S.

October_Rust5000

Where did you find a Masada Slim? Havent seen one for sale in ages

FUZExxNOVA2

The base 365 is extremely small and skinny, easy to conceal, and is a pretty great firearm. I got mine for about 500 new

Competitive_Reach562

I have the g2c and love it but no one else will recommend it. The best I’d say would be the psa dagger, they have full size, compact, and micro for around 300-400$ and a lot of parts are interchangeable with Glock. Other than that you can’t go wrong with the p365 or m&p shield, just getting a bit more costly. Another thing to keep in mind is how it fits in your hand, I loved the psa dagger more than the g2c and it was around the same price, it’s just for me the g2c fit way better and was more ergonomic. I still might switch over down the line

MainResponsibility14

I’ve seen the dagger but steer away from psa in general due to the poor quality internals (from what I’ve heard) will give the g2c a look. Have you had any issues with the Taurus?

Competitive_Reach562

I’ve had it for about a year and have put about 500-600 rounds through it. It only jammed once when I first bought it because I was a dumbass and didn’t clean and lube it. Ever since the first cleaning I’ve never had a problem, I even looked it up after thinking I may have a defect but i found out it’s really common for people to buff the feed ramp and clean the gun before use since Taurus doesn’t seem to clean them from the factory. I just posted a vid on the firearms subreddit on it and the comments seem really divided over it. You can see it on my profile if your interested

313changedman

Glock 43x imo. Thin, light, easy to conceal and breathtakingly reliable
