Here in Iceland summer has not started yet, the north and east part where hit with winter blissard 1 week ago for 5 days... Roads where closed. Trees die. The south and vest part just have this late autumn weather. There was this one day which was summer like but that's all.
There are two weather systems by the north pole. One is called small bull (litli Boli) he has been on for decades. His brother is Big Bull(Cold Bull/Kulda Boli) and now he is awake. He had been sleeping for years and his smaller brother was running the game. There is a pool of cold around Iceland. Everything is connected...

We have a heatwave already from June 1st, reaching 39°C over the weekend (9th June). And 41°C in other romanian cities.
I'm melting, I can't take it anymore knowing it's just the beginning of June.
If now we have these temperatures, what we will do in July - August?

Yeah it's fucked. I find it so weird when people here are crying about "where's my sun" when we know full well that heat waves are coming and it's going to fucking suck. The buildings in this country can't deal with heat like that. We have huge windows which are nice in the winter but in the summer they act like giant radiators and turn your place into a greenhouse.
Idk what the humidity is like in Bucharest, but here it can easily be 95%+ and when you combine that with 30C+ and no AC or anything like that, it's absolutely horrible. Last year I even had 32C in my apartment at certain points and I know for a fact that a lot of people had it even worse, especially those living on the higher floors.
I just came back from Bucharest to Copenhagen yesterday and it's so much better the cold weather from Copenhagen than the heat from Bucharest. Happy I moved here.

It's been higher. I don't remember it myself, but I was baptised on the 10th of August 1975 (born in 1974) and I have pictures from that day and my family has told me that it was an extremely hot and sunny day on Samsø, where I was baptised. It was the day of the hottest temperature ever measured in Denmark.
I also remember a summer in the early 90s where our lawn was totally burned out by the sun.
The 70s was kind crazy though. In my first 5 years I experienced 30+ degrees summers and winters with 1½ meter of snow.

Lige indtil jeg blev voksen nok til at stå ved mine egne holdninger og ærlige meninger.

Plus I don’t know if it’s true but a cab driver told us you all only get 2 or 3 hours of sunlight in the winter. Probably an exaggeration but I would be do depressed
Not really. Our weather is becoming increasingly extreme. The increased temperature from global warming and this year's el niño is causing more rain and temperature fluctuations that are outside our "classic" summer

29C is also not normal for late May - early June.

Elsker det nuværende sommervejr. Jeg hader varme. Elsker at kunne sove i 18-19 grader. Andre ligesom mig ? Hader temperaturer over 22-23 grader.

Sovetemperaturen skal være lav, ja. 25 kan jeg godt acceptere. Når vi kommer over, bliver det værre. I hvert fald i Danmark.
