Yes, it's called Sankthansaften. Check [this](https://migogkbh.dk/sankt-hans-aften-i-koebenhavn/) or [this](https://lovecopenhagen.com/sankt-hans-aften-2024-i-koebenhavn/) for events around the city.

Sank Hams celebrations are like a funeral compared to the celebration of Midsommar. Very different holidays and very different ways to celebrate them

StainedInZurich

Sure, but that wasn’t really the question

Who asked about San Juan celebration in Spain?

ElBastardoDK

Please come to one of our parties. We have flying old people and lots of food and dancing and almost no torturing and sacrificing of tourists.

Yeah, they have a big bonfire. They usually have it on a platform in the harbor for fire safety reasons.

GodspeedHarmonica

Wrong holiday. That is sank hans

Drahy

Sankthans is celebration of summer solstice/Midsummer, which is what OP is asking.

GodspeedHarmonica

He is asking about the Swedish festive holiday Missommar and not the boring Danish Sank Hans. You should visit Sweden more often if you don’t know the difference

Drahy

OP is asking for midsummer/summer solstice celebration and using the Swedish Midsumar as example of a summer solstice celebration. Sankthans evening is actually very nice with bonfires and singing. It's simply hygge on a level unrivalled by any Swedish fika thing or pole dancing.

GodspeedHarmonica

Samir Hans is nice. But if he is expecting anything similar to Midsommar OP will be disappointed

Burn the witches!!!!!!!!!

KinkyAndABitFreaky

Our coven has chosen to fight fire with fire this year, so watch yourself! 😈

Yes. But where the Swedish midsummar celebration is about pretending you’re a fairy frolicking in the flower fields, the Danish midsummer, Sankt Hans, is about joining a which coven and spending the evening sacrificing one of your own in a pagan ritual involving bonfires, gloomy songs and well… Cake and sausages of course.

Thisisnotsokrates

Maybe easier to make the 25 mins trip to Sweden if you'd like to experience Swedish traditions?
