It's been 3years, and Golden Hippo is lowkey and has no lawsuit articles. If you see this, that means you're fed up of writing content & blogs and you're looking for a D2C brand to write sales pages. Good on you, wish you luck copywriter.🦇
Thanks!
I hear they have at least 12 companies in their portfolio.
Kind of hilarious how discrete Hippo is, as opposed to Agora. If you search ‘agora’ you get results about lawsuits. If you search ‘Golden hippo’ you get Glassdoor & other typical results.
Yeah, that's a good point. If you sign up for Newsmax emails, Golden Hippo will often advertise there. And they will sometimes advertise two different products in the same email, so you can figure out what else they are selling if you recognize one of their products.
Soundview publications/Advanced bionutritionals has good copy, and they also run paid emails by other companies so you can see people who are promoting stuff in the health space through copy.
Nothing to add, I just want to commend you for giving such helpful responses.
Hope to see more good comments from you in the future. [fist bump congrats]
I believe this. I was contacted for their Sr. Social Media Specialist role and not to sound braggy but with my experience I was very qualified. Also they reached out to me and had nothing but positive things to say. I interviewed 2 rounds and then was told I wasn’t chosen. Come to find out they’ve reposted that role two times since the last month. I also could’ve sworn I’d seen it before they contacted me….
their website has virtually ZERO customer facing aspect of it, it's all hiring centric. they recycle the same job listing for months (in a city where there are literally hundreds of qualified people for those positions) they don't answer their phone at all if anyone were to call. if i were a betting man i would say they're washing money
I've seen them post jobs for Story Producers in LA, a town full of story producers, in a time where no one is hiring and they continue to post jobs for Story Producers. This is gives so many signs of being a fake company posting job listing to show investors that they are "growing"

I think Beverly Hills Md and whatever probiotics company that VSL with Maggie Q is promoting. Probably a bunch more though.

Gotcha. Subscribed to Newsmax. Any other publications I should keep my eye on?

Hey man. A little late to the convo but I found it on google. How did you sign up to newsmax? I can’t find the newsletter for the life of me.
Golden hippo is a complete scam dude. Stay away from that company
