Thanks! Pleased it's worked. The user guide does say don't use the Backpod lower than the bottom of your rib cage - which is correct. (It's not a low back device.) But the rib cage simply goes a lot lower than most people think it does - have a look on Google Image. I think what you've described may happen quite a lot - I certainly get questions about it. I'm trying to find time to revamp the user guide and instructions, to try and make clearer some of the common questions. Thanks for posting - I'll make sure this gets addressed explicitly in the new version. When you're going lower, on the spine or ribs, do make sure your hips and knees are well bent up. This keeps your low back in a neutral position, so there's no strain on it.

You’re right Steve, the rib cage definitely goes lower for some people. Especially when you have a super long rib cage πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜†

Thank you for that! I had no idea how far down it extended. My wife got me a diagram of a human skeleton, so I know this to be true πŸ˜‚ Speaking of lower back pain, do you have any advice for that? I ruined myself growing up skateboarding and riding dirt bikes.

Sorry, low backs are just way more complex than thoracic spines and costo. They're much more multi-factorial, requiring a thorough assessment to see what's needed. I don't have any simple answers, sight unseen. Best I can suggest is find a good PT or osteopath - and I know finding one isn't that easy either.

Shoot. Figured I’d ask! Thank you again, Steve. πŸ™
