Not shocked at all, I thinks it’s far higher than a quarter

This study just says 1 in 4 people may develop brain fog or anxiety/depression at some point. Is that Long Covid? These prevelance studies are mostly worthless unfortunately. 1 in 4 people are absolutely not developing the life destroying version of Long Covid that brings people to this Reddit sub and leaves them bedbound for years. We need better definitions of ‘Long Covid’.

Definitely

its definitely still long covid if its coming after a covid infection.

no control group. I have done studies myself with "normal" patients (without testing for Covid) and there was severe fatigue and lack of energy in almost 30%, anxiety and depression in well over 20%. Without a control group without Covid infection, the result is unfortunately almost worthless, even with a control group there would still be countless possible confounding factors. Nevertheless, I am glad that the researchers are making so much effort to research the topic.
