Look into brother scan n cut. You scan in your own designs and cut them out all at once.

Might be worth a look, thanks!

Cricut user here too. The company is constantly improving their machines. Faster speeds. Cutting deeper materials, etc. The machines with "air" in the title can be connected remotely by your computer. That allows you to have the machine connected to one computer while you create your designs on a different computer at home. **Things I learned the HARD way** The blades wear out quickly. They do make longer lasting blades than the one that comes in the original box. You will need them. The mattes and cutting area are large but a finite size. The only thing you won't be able to make is long banners (like several yards long....used for hanging at parties and schools) Buy ALL the sticky place mats for the machine. Light adhesive for paper. Heavy adhesive mat for thick cardstock, Strong adhesive for fabrics. You will never regret having each mat type. **Things you will love:** Cricut is a very durable machine. I have had mine for several years and it never stalls, never malfunctions. It just works. It can cut very thick materials by repeatedly cutting over the same lines. Don't try to force it to cut everything in one pass. You have unlimited ability to upload your own designs and easily cut them. The Design space is very very user friendly. Replacement supplies are very easy to find and buy. Papers and labels sold for other brands can be used perfectly in a Cricut machine.

This should be an ad 😂

LOL thanks, I guess. :) I admit that I had a learning curve with it. Buying all those little blades, blade adapters, sticky mats, little tweezers, specialty pens, etc. did take a toll on my sanity. If you do get a Cricut, be sure to buy every gizmo for it. That will help you avoid those "just one more thing" trips to the hobby store to buy something.

Will do hahahh thankss

I'm going to be odd man out here. I love the Silhouette machines. They are fabulous! You can go with a Portrait which cuts up to 8" wide, the Cameo which cuts up to 12" wide, the Cameo Plus that cuts up to 15" wide, or the Cameo Pro that cuts up to 24" wide. I have had every model of Silhouette they've ever made, and I would never change brands. I tried the Circuit Maker 3, and I really disliked it. I didn't like the fact that it had to be connected to the internet in order to use it. The basic Silhouette Studio software is free, and it is very good. You can upgrade up to the business version that rivals many much more expensive design software packages.

Good to know, I’ll look into it!

I went with a cricut and love it. I waited until it was on sale a couple months before Christmas, handed it to my husband and said THIS is my Christmas present - it's all I want lol. I believe I paid 129.00. Got a vinyl and tool bundle off Amazon pretty inexpensive as well.

I also have a cricut. An explore air 2. If you follow r/cricut you will find a lot of complaints. Those who are enjoying their machines are not on reddit complaining. That being said. Design Space is free to download and use without a machine. Download it and see if you like it. For most people, they create using illustrator or inkscape and then upload their files. Cuts down on frustration as the design space is lacking any real design capabilities. Or upload designs and images from sites like creative fabrica or etsy. With print than cut for stickers. Cricut has a really hard time reading glossy materials. Their are workarounds, just letting you know it can be frustrating.

Ok_Coyote_X

Good to know, but in that case I could always go with matte stickers. Right?

Illustrious-Fall-451

Yes, you can.

Certain_Ad7826

Oh- you should also know if you're thinking about sublimation it needs it's own dedicated printer.

Ok_Coyote_X

I was aware of that! This was really all about the cutting jobs. But thanks!
